The Disney PhD's do Disney AGAIN! (and Vero Beach too!) Now w/ pics!

Great report, I'm about halfway hrough and will have to finish later. I know how you feel about your daughter's hat- My son got a really cute Lion King outfit (mesh sweatpants and a zip up hoodie) for Chistmas, and he wore it for the first time to the International Auto Show in January. Within 15 minutes we took it off because it was too hot in there, and we never saw it again. We looked all over, checked lost and found several times, but never found it. The pants haven't been worn since because there is nothing to go with them (although now that warmer weather is here, a t-shirt will do well) and I am still bitter about losing it! Can't wait to read the rest!

Thank you so much ryan840, I enjoyed reading yours too (but I felt so bad for you and your poor sick son!) I hope your next trip is more magical.

Funny that we were both there at the same time. I always wonder how many people we pass or chat with are also Dis members. Your son is so cute, I love that picture holding tinkerbell.

I will get the pictures posted soon.

We have been working like mad on the house construction. We are only a few weeks away from being done, but things are holding us up. This weekend we found out our kicthen sink drain is more then just plugged up, it isn't conected under the house so we can't use it all until we get someone in to dig up our basment. This is the last thing we need right now, all our other junk is being stored in the basement until the 2nd floor is done.

Great report so far. Haven't had a chance to finish it yet, but I'm enjoying it! Thanks for posting!

Hello!! I'm loving the Trip Reports. Poor little PhD...hope she feels better. tell baby i said hi!

Are you DVC members for Vero Beach, or did you rent points from someone.

What DIS members did you meet over at Vero Beach? I remember you said hi to Tammy and the DIS name was Scooootish or something. Does he write those great trip reports?

And is Vero Beach on the Atlantic Side or Gulf Side?

We are DVC members and we love it! We own 170 points at VWL, but since we have been doing more then 1 trip a year we are running shy on points. (we are in a constant state of borrowing. :rolleyes1 ) We figured the deal at PORS was too good to pass up. However we love VB in may only 10 points a night during the week for a ocean view in room (and it was a GREAT view). Our 1st trip there (May 2004) we booked about 5 weeks in advance. This time we booked about 9 weeks in advance and had no problem getting a room. It is a small resort, but a unsong gem of DVC! :goodvibes You don't ned to own at resort to stay there. The only benifit owning at resort is you can book there 11 months out, all others you can only book 7 months out. If there is room you can stay at any resort. So far we havne't had any problems staying at other resorts.

Tammy is Scoooth, just her screen name. She was the only other Dis member we ran into, but many DVC members. I haven't read a trip report from her, but we have been in email contact since she was home. It was great to meet a friend down there. VB is very friendly, rather camp like feel to it. You see the same people all over and there are many activites for kids. Really a few nights isn't enough for me. It was more fun and relaxing last time when we were there for 5 nights and that was great. Since we have AP we wante to do more WDW this trip. (I have an old trip report on file for that one somewhere, keep in mind I was 27 weeks pregnant at the time!)

VB is on the Atlantic side, south of Cape Canaveral. It is about 2 hours from WDW. It is a fun area, but there isn't too much around there besides orange trees. There are a some nice resturants and a mall along with a nice water front area. It really is a good escape in a Disney Quality resort, but with out the presure to go go go all time. (no crowds either.) We love it! :cheer2:

Thanks Clemstiger, she is feeling much better. You can't see it at all any more, but I can't belive that was normal!

Hi everyone, here is the pictures as promsied. I even posted the one of the chicken salad at Norway (you can see for yourself how small it was. ) And the hat that disapeared on TSI. There are a few of how great Vero Beach is and one of Areil at Norway too. (Along with the minnie hat pictures of the girls.)

Any questions.

Thanks!

We live just off Woodward (near 12 mile) so we normally walk over to the dream cruise every year. Last year Lily was born a week and 1/2 before so I didn't make the walk, but we sure heard it!
