The Disney Chiques Clique meeting held here

Good morning friends!! TGIF:jumping1:

It's a dreary Friday here, cloudy & some rain. We had some pretty intense storms during the night.

I'll be back later when I get out of work.

Have a great day everyone!:sunny:

Good Morning, everyone!

Anne, have a wonderful time on your trip. Don't forget to let us know how things went when you return.

WishingStar, I don't blame you for being nervous - I certainly would be. Best of luck!

Weekend plans . . . catching up on the laundry, son's baseball game, get the oil changed in my car, and a family outing to go out to dinner and see a movie on Saturday night (probably Van Helsing or Troy).

Everyone have a great weekend!!!

:upsidedow Morning all!

Can I go back to bed yet????

Today I'm being lazy until I have to go pick up DS. Belle wants to watch Beauty and the Beast again today

Spent most of yesterday working on a project with DS, then the new range was installed - too bad I felt like crud for the majority of the afternoon! DH came home to take care of me and the kids.

Tomorrow DH is going to mow the lawn and do some weeding if the weather holds!

Can't tell you all how glad I am to be on the west coast, no cicadas!! I remember them when we were at our cabin in Michigan - I don't think I'll ever forget that sound - ICK!!! :scared: :faint: :crazy2:

Jess, I understand about how nuts it can drive you when they want to watch the same movie over and over again. With my daughter, it was "The Little Mermaid" and "Batman" (an odd choice for a 2-year old!). But she would get too scared at the end of "Mermaid" when Ursula got big and came out of the water and started making large waves - so she would always come and get me and make me watch that part with her until the end. So I saw "The Little Mermaid" more times than I can ever count!

We don't have the cicada thing in Colorado either - though I do remember the sound from growing up in Nebraska. You're right - you can't get it out of your head!!

I used to watch our friends son, he had to watch Aladdin over and over again - it got to the point that we all had it memorized!! Belle loves to watch Finding Nemo and Monsters Inc. a lot too, she'll get in the van asking for Mike Wazowski! Bubba never really got into anything that he had to watch it all the time, until he got into Rugrats - then we watched that as much as he could get away with!

I'm glad we don't have the cicada problem, just seeing them on the TV creeps me out!

Good afternoon,clicquers!!
I spent the most lovely day at the Providence zoo with my younger son. He was a little cranky, but I figuered it might get him used to all the walking we are going to be doing in a couple of months!!
He loved the zebra's the best, but the elephants were a close second!!
Hopefully, giraffes are third because I know that they have those at AKL, where we are going to be staying.:hyper:

Have any of you guys stayed there before?

Kristi

I was just there at the beginning of the month, alecam!

OK, listening to all of so excited to go WDW, make me feel spoiled. All I have to do is say "Honey lets take Tyler over to MK to see Wishes."

I get excited to go to NJ, ME and MI were family live.

This summer we're going to meet friends in NJ and go to Hershey Park. Now I'm excited about that.

This was our third time this year. I so look forward to going there everytime!!
It was completely packed with school groups today, though. I was surprised that they would be there so close to the end of the school year, but I guess it makes sense with the weather being warmer!?

Anyway, I'm glad I only brough one child and not both.
How far from there are you?Takes me about 45 mins from southeastern CT.

Kristi

Excited about New Jersey?? My brain isn't computing that... ;) (I guess most people don't get excited about where they live...)

Ohhhh, I was referring to AKL, not the zoo. I live in New Jersey, so the Providence Zoo would be a little far away for a day trip for me. ;)

Jolie

I don't know if you saw this early, but my 6 month old has been to WDW 4 times already.

alecam-We stayed at the AKL during it's first year. We had a Savanna room and it was great. You're sure to have a good time, the kids loved it.

Oooh, I'm jealous, Becca! Want to trade houses? ;)

I grew up in Morris County. My Mom and Grandmom still live there. We are have Tyler's Baptism in the church I grew up in. That way it is exciting to me.

We LOVE AKL!! This was the second time we have stayed there and it is a really fun place to stay. :teeth:

Alecam, I agree. Delswife is SO funny. Such a vivid way with words! She paints pictures when she "talks".
