Holly - Your daughters quote made me laugh! Don't kids say the cutest things?! I live in MD too, and I haven't seen any cicadas. Though I have talked with other people in surrounding cities that have them by the thousands. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they don't like my neighborhood!



I had my first pedicure today! I don't know what took me so long, it was a very relaxing! Then when I got home, the WDW Passporter that I ordered was waiting for me at the front door. I've had a good day!

Whoa cicadas!!! Someone today sent me receipes today on how to cook them. EEEWWWWW!!!! I have not seen many myself. But one did decide to splatter itself all over the car windshield yesterday and made a very loud thud on the glass. Double EEEEEWWWWW!!!

Well it's starting to rumble and rain here. We're expecting thunderstorms. Of course, it doesn't rain all week and then when DS is suppose to have a baseball game (tomorrow) it's going to pour! Oh darn, I might have an evening to just sit home and relax!

What's everyone's plans for the weekend? I'm going to get a pedicure Saturday and going out for lunch with a friend. Maybe get some scrapbooking done too.

weekend plans? well tommorrow, friday, we ghet to go to jackson miss( our weekly treck to see the surgeons) after that saturday is secrets piano recital and dw wants to get lawn mower fixed and mow yard we hope its getting deep we 've been trying to find her a boat with blades but not available, our yard looked like lake till today hopefully we can ghet that took care of, any other time we have left will be spent getting ready for a yard sale not really something we wanna do but need to get some stuff cleared out to make room for more,, or to make more room one way or the other,

This weekend I have a shop for my business and Sunday its clean the house. We have a 6 month old who is starting to crawl and getting ready to pull himself up to walk. Baby proofing time.

Yardbird.... I'm going to have a manicure/pedicure really soon. I've never had a pedicure before and I'm so excited to get one. This was one of my Anniversary gifts from DH! Where in Maryland are you? I live in Anne Arundel County. My Mom lives in Charles County, and she said the Cicadas aren't too bad down there.

If you Marylanders are going to Robert Andrew for your pedicures, they are Heavenly!!!!! I had my first (and only) pedicure done there last summer, and it was great. And the polish stayed on FOREVER!! I left the polish on for over 2 months and it never even chipped..even with all that summer sandal wearing! Way cool.

We've had some cicadas fly into our yard, none came up here since our neighborhood is newer. My boys love finding them! They MUST be noisy though because we can hear them in the big trees all the way across the street from us!

No exciting plans for the weekend. I've been on my own with the kids for the past few days (dh is on a business trip), so he will be taking over kid duty so I can have a break!!!

Ugh, it's going to be a humid day today... blech. We are closing on our refinancing this morning, so I dont' get a lot of time here on the Dis this moring...

Tonight is Family Fun night at my oldest DD's school. My youngest is really excited because they are having one of those pie in the face booths, and she wants to get the Vice Principal! LOL It's starts young, doesn't it? Heehee~

This weekend I plan to get everything finished on Saturday for my DD communion party. Then I will spend the rest of the day cleaning the house to get it ready for Sunday's open house. Please keep your fingers crossed that the open house is a success. Tonight we are going for DD's communion portraits.

Weekend plans:
Today I'll be going grocery shopping, and getting the laundry done.
Saturday morning it's off to work, I'm very nervous about going, it will be my first time back since the robbery.
Saturday night DH and I are going to a comedy club with the guys he works with and their wives. It should be alot of fun.
Sunday working all day.
