The Disney Chiques Clique meeting held here

Well, our refinancing is FINALLY complete! Whoo Hoo! Now DH can buy a new car! LOL Actually, he has a pretty new car.. a Toyota Camry (nice), but he's bored with it! We've been looking at the smaller SUV's and are leaning towards the Saturn Vue. We looked at the HOnda Pilot today (LOVE IT), but the car payments would be about $475 a month. DON'T THINK SO! They just put a new HONDA engine in the Vue, so it's a much better car than it was last year. We'll see.

We're heading up to DD's school in a bit for the Family Fun Night! Should be fun. Just hope it doesn't rain!

Congratulations on the refinancing, Holly!

You make me laugh about your husband now being able to get a new car. Sounds like my husband. He likes cars, and is always looking for a new "ride". Right now its a Mini Cooper . . .

We tell our friends that we never met a car we couldn't trade! Oh well, I figure it's cheaper than therapy or marriage counseling in the long run!! :teeth:

I hope you have good weather tonight, and have a great weekend.

Mine wants a mini cooper too, but I SAID NO! LOL Just not practical with two little ones! ;) We also stopped by the Volkswagon dealer today (he was looking at the Jettas) and I found the CUTEST little Bug.. it was cherry red, with red and black leather seats. Looked like a little LADYBUG! :) I want it! Sigh.. guess I'll just have to stick with my van. I couldn't believe how cheap the Volkswagon Bugs are!

Hi. I want to join in here. Looks like fun.

Mini Coopers are so cute! I want one, too.

Welcome aboard, Sheree. There are some really nice people here!

Jolie - IF we get this Mini Cooper, I anticipate a lot of jockeying around here to see who gets to drive it!!! Sigh . . . I always get stuck with the S.U.V. because I have to haul the kids and their sporting equipment around.

Let us know if you get it and what color and if it's fun to drive and everything!

Thinks it might be strange that i doint want a mini cooper,, i wanna drive my suburban:sad: wait hey a mini would fit in the back of the suburban,, i could take out the spare,,,but nope even at 2+ a gal i'll stick ewith the suburban,, unless i find a bigger suv,, after this wreck i wanthuge,, wondering if i could get a peterbuilt in a suv model..........actually i love my suburbans,, i will probably treade this one for anothjer one,, some day.. but having oqwned it almost three months and actuaslly driven it a complete 3 blocks in that time:) i'll stick with it for now:) dw bougt it as an incentive for me to keep getting better:) scared to fill the tank up. will keep riding in the blazer for now:) much better gas mileage:) ok next...

Come on in, Elaine. Always room for one more!

Gotta go - but have a nice weekend!

Today was Graduation Day for me!! The convocation was wonderful, I had to try so hard not to cry! Now I can rest (just a little) before I start studying for the licensing exam (Social Work). Then, I best be looking for a place of employment!

Holly - I live in Anne Arundel County too, in Arnold. I usually just say Annapolis, because most people have never heard of Arnold, or even know where it is (a few short miles noth of Annapolis).

Yardbird- congrats on the graduation. You must feel wonderful:thewave:

Yardbird! I know where Arnold is. A good friend of mine just moved over there. She's off of College Parkway. Near an elementary school. My youngest daughters Allergy/Asthma Doctor is over there too... off of *****ula Farm Rd! Small World!

The Family Fun night was a BLAST! It was from 5-9 and we were there the ENTIRE time! The girls were able to get several bounces in :Pinkbounc the moonbounce, youngest DD threw a pie in the Vice Principal's face! The paper plate stuck to his cheek! LOL (he moved closer so she'd hit him! hehee), the Art Teacher acted as DJ and played GREAT music, lots of games and junk food! LOL A great night. We're all exhausted!

Welcome to all the new members!

Good evening everyone, hope all is well. I'm feeling a little sad tonight. My DB had to go home to Orlando today, he has to work sunday, what a fast week this was. I'm very proud of him and his DW for following their dream, but it sure is hard to say goodbye.:(

I hate that feeling, too, Star. My family lives nowhere near me and it's always a downer when they leave after a visit.

Good Morning everyone. Today promises to be rainy here with thunderstorms. I'm off to work, have a great day.

Good Morning!!!
The sun is shining outside, and the cicadas are singing We'll probably be looking at cars again today. What's on your agenda?
