I made it through the weekend just fine. Things are going well right now. I just hope it stays that way. P&PD will still be greatly appreciated.

s&k'smom - I'm sorry that things are giong so bad at work. I know the feeling though when you are ready to leave and just waiting. Hopefully you will get the new job REAL quick!!!!!

Denise - Sorry things are such a mess right now.

Tammi - Sorry about the situation with the family.

Update: I talked to my lawyer today. She is well aware that he swore to things that are not accurate and she will take care of that in responding to it. She is also going to file what we need to file. I go back to work tomorow. I have an awesome attorney, so I'm in good hands with her. It's just stressful.

Morning all, having a better day but am anxious for my up coming vacation. They are letting me take an extra week so I can get some rest. Would'nt that be a kick if I got a job offer while on vacation! Isn't there some kind of way our insurance will cover a mental health vacation to WDW for our group to meet their!

Just stopping by on a very good, upportive thread. My very best wishes to all who are in need here, lots of 'tough stuff' in everyone's lives. Yet we all gone on. Prayers for everyone in need. And hoping if/when I am in need (I'm sure I will again, we are all have hurts and difficulties throughout our lives) that the DIS support will be there, as it has so many times in the past. It is wonderful. Good wishes.

Good afternoon everyone! Hope everyone's doing well and the quiet status of this thread is because of board problems. *hugs*

Other than the board problems, I'm having one of those "can't focus" days again. I hate these. For some reason I couldn't sleep well at all last night. I'm not sure why. Wasn't because of caffiene becaue I had less than half what I've been drinking lately. Today I'm making up for it. Oh well, maybe I can sleep tonight.

Morning all, TG it's Friday. Had my second visit with the therapist yesterday and I really like her. Son's follow-up visit went very well too plus the kids got to swim in the neighbor's pool yesterday so it was a good day. Plus best of all I found a very important document I lost at work so it should be a good weekend!

Well, the good news is that DS#1 will be leaving his missionary trip in India today and heading back to the States. Those were five long weeks! He'll have one week of "debriefing" in Kentucky and then head to PA for a weekend before returning to college in Kentucky.

The bad news is, he's coming home to find out that his Dad (my estranged husband) is going to be facing major chemo. Then, DS#1 just informed me by e-mail last night that he is thinking about hooking up with his girlfriend and getting engaged again. He's only 20 and I was so happy when he called the engagement off! They were talking about getting married next summer and he'd still have his senior year of college to go!

So, after yet another sleepless night, I've decided not to ride this rollercoaster with him again. If it happens, it happens.

Plus, I'm still trying to figure out what my role should be in my separated husband's illness. The nasty party of me wants to ask where is his Other Woman in all of this, but I won't

Hopefully, I'll get some rest and relaxation this weekend!

I don't mind haiving some ups and downs, but really am discouraged that the rug has been pulled out from under me again......and that I allowed myself to be in a situationto let it happen.
