We decided to try the medicine with DS...and it is actually working pretty good. We have seen no bad side effects, and he is actually a lot less aggressive. His speech actually seems better too!!! DH's parents were here on Monday/Tuesday and she commented that in three weeks (the last time she saw him) that he was talking a ton better

He was talking a lot .. lots and lots and lots.. fixating on one idea and not letting it go. Which was the point of the med, to stop the fixation and needing to be perfect.

Exactly, that was our concern too - there are so many possible negatives that can come from it, but fortunately we have not seen any of those. I love his Doctor though...he called me from his house on Sunday afternoon to find out how Alec was doing
