Good lord, no! I look like death warmed over in gray, never wear it! :scared1:

I had a bright red Mickey sweatjacket, so if you don't remember it I must not have been wearing it. :rotfl:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: Welcome back. It has been so long since we last chatted.

Hola Ladies!

Another busy day for me. Went shopping again, and bought a light weight jacket, and a cute terry sweat suit to bring to DL. (Had the lime green Juicy one ordered, but i got an e-mail notification that it was no longer available.) :headache: Then I got my haircut, then went and bought some more fabric for Kaitlyn's play, then went and picked her up from school for a an ortho appointment, after that went back and bought more fabric for her graduation dress, and last but not least.........went to Open House at school tonight. Oh, and also went to an 8th grade meeting for her trip to San Fran.
Now I'm home to relax with my glass of red wine. :rolleyes1

So what's the news ladies?

BIG NEWS!!! No.. sorry. I lied. Dh is sick, and most likely staying home tonight... the kids are in bed, Mikalah is potty training. Well, not right now, she is sleeping. But we will start fresh in the morning. I cleaned a little, but the house is messy again. So... basically.. same ol, same ol.

I'm learning about blueberries and the time machine we have in our home....

freezer.

Part of it is his own fault :headache: for not watching diet/liquids. There's only so much nagging I can do
GEESH, I hear that. Tonight I browned a pound of ground beef (lean, which I then rinsed with hot water), then put half of it in the spaghetti sauce and left half in the strainer. DH comes by and says, "Why didnt' you use all the hamburger meat?" I explained that it's too much for amount of sauce, it gets too thick. He says, "You're just trying to keep me healthy, aren't you?" I said, "Yup, trying!"

Then he asks if he should throw out the unused cooked beef. "No!" I shouted as he tipped the strainer over the sink. He gives me the  look, and I told him I'm going to throw it in a container and freeze it, it's ready for the next time we have spaghetti. He just shook his head. MEN! :confused3

 Just think... he can run all the errands you dont want to. :thumbsup2 my mom was forever sending me out to do her stuff. Go to the bank for me, run to the store.. Do this... Do that... :lmao: not that I minded of course.. I could drive and listen to whatever I wanted on the radio!:cool1:
My dad had his license at 14, because he was the only child at home (being the last of 5 boys) and my grandmother didn't know how to drive. So he drove her around and did all her errands.

Never fails, at least one of your children has to scare you at the pool.. it's like some law of the cosmos. :rotfl2:
Been there, done that. At least I wasn't there to witness it, but it's almost worse that way, hearing about it. We left Ds3 with the ILs for the first time, just for about an hour because we had an errand. When we got back, she had apparently decided to take DS3 (I think he was 1.5 at the time) for a walk, didn't hold his hand, walked him to the fenced pool area while she smoked a cigarette (!), and he just ran right into the pool. :scared1:

What part of DON'T TAKE HIM OUT did you misunderstand? What part of WE MUST HOLD HIS HAND TIGHT AT ALL TIMES did you not hear??? OMG!

I don't think we've let them watch him since. They just don't take us seriously. :sad2:

Good grief, and all that is for ONE child??? HS has got to be exhausting just for the parents! :scared1:

I don't like gray on me either Alex. :scared:

My jacket is gray.. I have never really thought about it. Now I will have to look. Or, you all could just tell me if I look like crap in it. Actually.. Alex, do I look like crap in the jacket you saw me wear? Give it to me straight.. I can take it. :guilty:

Really??? I never woulda guessed. I would have thought it would look great with the dark hair, but I think it depends a lot on skintone.

Do you have yellowish skin or pinkish skin? Mine is yellowish, and I have the darker "Autumn" coloring, so gray is reeeeeeally bad. Black isn't so good, either, but I wear it anyway. My best colors are browns, many greens, creams, navy and eggplant. Espresso, that dark brown, almost black color, looks awesome on me! But it's hard to find.

I know what you mean. You think you are busy with little ones, and you are busy!! But it is a different kind of busy. At least when they are young, you stay at home more. As they grow older more things are happening out of the home. Also since this is her last year at elementary school, and she is graduating, things are kicked up a notch. :dance3:
