Sorry Shawna - I have to run DS to school so I will be back in a bit. DH called with more bad news...the guy he works for his a real jack@ss...always has been, but it has not really affected DH. DH is running a 1.3 million dollar restaurant with as you know Him, me, a crappy 19yo and a good other girl (with very limited availability). There is a store 20 minutes away at about
700k volume, with also 4 managers, a GM, an excellent assistant Dh trained, a not so good shift and another young shift the guy promoted. Well, the sup just called, let DH know they are going to let the not so good shift go, and that DH is going to have to give someone up. Odds are he is meaning me which is not going to happen, it is not even feasible because DH and I overlap, and if he has to stay late, I come in late, it would never work. Even if it is not me, it leaves us with three and them with four and we are double the volume, but they expect that out of DH because he makes more :sad2: :sad2: :sad2: Ok...sorry to blurt that out and run, but I just found out and I am ticked to say the least.

YIKES! I hope it all works out somehow. Seems to be a lot of decisions he is making before the busy season that dont need to be made huh? Is this the same guy as was his boss down here? I know you are running out the door now this is for you to answer later!

What did I do here?

mmm... Thats always fun. Can he make it to the potty yet? Or does he just explode wherever?

I washed 3 sets of sheets this morning so no making it to the potty yet! Although he is better now thank goodness. I dont think he has anything in him though. As soon as a sip of water or sprite hits his little tummy it comes back up!

Fun! My kids always make it to the hallway, in front of the bathroom. Or my couch. Poor little fella. :guilty: I hope he gets better really soon.

Thank you ma'am.

Oh, I saw your post where you are going to start making clothes for Mikalah, happy late birthday to her by the way.

Anyway, I LOVE the patterns from Simplicity that are the "That's so Raven" line. They look just like Limited Too and Justice clothing stores. Those are Morgan's favorite stores. You should check them out. They have some cute stuff!

Good morning, hyenas!
OMG, a burst of sun!

The weather seriously went downhill after our sunny hot spell on Saturday (80F!!!) It certainly made my lettuce wilt! :faint:

Well, Sunday I got sick and caught a miniflu. that is what I am calling it as it lasted about 12 hours. Strange. might have been food poisoning I thought except Jake started throwing up at midnight last night and has not stopped since. my mom went to work for a half day So I am here with him and Jeff will pick her up to bring her home.

anyway, while she was at work I was supposed to go shopping but bringing a 5 year old little boy who throws up every minute and a half is not going to work so I guess I'll clean my house today.
GEESH, Shawna, when it rains, it pours!

I had a co-worker using a knee scooter for awhile after foot surgery, too. Kind of a hassle, but better than being cooped up at home, right? :thumbsup2

I'm glad you're feeling better, though sorry Jake is now tossing cookies. Poor baby!

DS7 is much better today, though now he has a regular old cold, complete with runny nose and (regular) cough. He was trying to convince me he should stay home, but when I asked if he felt OK, he said yes. I said, "Honey, it's just a cold. It's OK to go to school with a cold." So I loaded him up with super-soft tissues (I'm sure otherwise he'd have a rash under his nose) and cough drops, and am hoping he does OK today.

I dropped DS3 off at his preschool, and I always make sure he goes potty before I leave. Well, somewhere between the time I dressed him (around 7:45) and the time I dropped him off (around 9:00) he peed in his PUll-up! :headache:

They keep extra sets of the kids' clothes at school, so I grabbed his bag, and I'd run out of the pull-ups in there already! So I pulled the wet one back up, told him he'd have to wear it a bit while I ran back home. When I told the teacher, and said I'd be right back, she asked if I'd mind if he wore a "girl" pull-up, since there was a little girl potty-training in class, too. I said no, not at all, so we "borrowed" a princess pull-up and will bring them back an extra one when I restock for him. (And yes, he was thrilled to put on the pink princess pull-up!) :lmao:

:lmao: :lmao: I have a secret for you.. We used to let Alex pick out his own pull ups, and he picked the princess ones EVERY TIME!:lmao: Of course!!! He loves pretty girls.
