HI Guys,
so sorry this is late.
Well here we are on our first weigh in thread! I hope that those of you that are weighing in this week have a good weight loss, :goodvibes and those of you that are starting today, have a good first week!
don't forget to try and drink at least 2 litres of fluids a day, water not alcohol!!

Im off to join Slimming world in a minutes (AGAIN!!!) so hopefully I will have a nice weight loss to post next week.

For a minute then this Diet sounded so much more interesting :rotfl: - anyway after my first week 5lbs loss, I stayed the same last week. I'm feeling quite focussed now, so I'll let you know how I get on on Friday

Well I lost another 2.5lbs this morning, so thats 1 Stone and 6lbs in about 8 weeks, I hope it's ok that I mention what ive already lost as thats my incentive to keep going, I would like to lose another 1 stone before October 28th. :thumbsup2

Sue that's brilliant, have you got any tips for us ? what kind of diet are you doing ? :)

Im doing Weight Watchers Mandy, the same as I did last year and I lost 2 stone doing it last year. I drink loads of water as I find that fills me up, I have a breakfast bar and fruit or Low fat ceral (sometimes mixed with low fat yoghurt, instead of milk) for Breakfast,with a glass of boiled water with a slice of lemon in, A Chicken Salad, or Weight Watchers Pasta Salad or WW Sandwich for lunch, and for Dinner depending on what time I have its either Grilled Meat and Salad, or Jacket Potato with Weight Watchers cheese or dressing, or if Im in a rush or late home from work I have a WW ready meal. I eat 3 pieces of fruit a day, and a packet of Go ahead Chicken and Herb Bites or a Packet of Seasons, and 1 low fat yohurt. I have changed to Skimmed Milk and Im drinking a lot of herbal tea now instead of Coffee.

I try not to eat anything past 6.30pm in the evening, and I have recently taken up Yoga again, which I love.

I do once a week have the odd treat, like a curry, or Pasta and sauce,or even the odd Pizza once in a blue moon, but try to keep to the lowest fat that I can. I also save a few points every week so that I can have a couple of glasses of white wine on the weekend. I bought a couple of bottles of WW White wine but to be honest, I wasnt that keen, I do like my Chardonny ;)

I have given up eating completly any form of chocolate, biscuits, and normal bread,and normal crisps(which I adore) although I do have a brown pitta occasionally. :thumbsup2
 
Shall we just call you Saint Sue from now on!! Seriously that is fantastic! You are an inspiration to us all! Could you please move in with me and cook all my meals???

LOLOL Jen, the trouble is hon its takes me months to get motivated, and in which time all my good work is normally undone. ;)

I won't know what I weigh until I get to the gym later on in the week as the scales at home are broken :blush: but I would like to lose about two stone before our WDW holiday. I was fine at DLRP, lots of fruit and veg with the meals and all the walking around burns the alcohol off :rotfl: but since I have been home I have been very naughty :blush: :blush: That will all change tomorrow (LOL I am the queen of good intentions and am just finishing off the box of wine as I type! :rotfl2: )

here we go :goodvibes The last 2 weeks I have lost 7lb, which is just from controlling portion size and not snacking at all, just eating my 3 meals. I have cut down my wine consumption which wasn't easy as well. So 7lb down, 14 to go. Great work to all who have lost :thumbsup2
 
Good luck everyone! I go to WW on Thursday lunchtimes, so haven't weighed in this week yet. Will let you know how I do :) Have lost 13lbs in the last couple of months, but could have lost a lot more if I'd done it properly all the time :blush:
 
I weighed myself this morning and I have lost 1/2 pound. I'm fine with that as I don't have too much left to lose. I also follow WW.

I posted this on the other thread yesterday so thought I'd copy it to the right place!!

I do Weight Watchers At Home so don't go to meetings but do my own weigh in. My weigh in day is Sunday and I lost 1lb yesterday which isn't much but I have stayed the same for the last 4 weeks so am glad I'm going down again. I've now lost 26lbs in 6 months and was hoping to be at the 2 stone mark by the time I went on holiday but as I'm flying out on Thursday I'm not sure there's enough time to lose the last 2lbs!! You never know though....!!! :rotfl2:

I have about 16 lbs to lose! Eek!!

Will weigh myself again next Monday to see how my first week goes.

I am doing Weight Watchers as best as I can, cuz at the mo we are living with my parents whilst we save up for a house, so it's hard to get her not to cook my dinner.
She keeps cooking me what they have to make my life easier but I would prefer to cook for myself.

Will have to be firm with her!!

Started again yesterday. Hopefully being back in work will stop me snacking and help get the weight off. Am aiming for 2lb this week. Well done to everyone who has lost so far, there are some great success stories on here! :goodvibes

had a bit of a shock at the scales :rotfl: no change there then ! and ive revised my target to one and a half stone :blush:
