BRRRR....ya know...us Florida folk (at least the ones who have lived here all our lives) don't have WARM CLOTHES!!!!
Brrrrr.....wind cuts like a knife through my Old Navy-poor excuse for a thermal waffle shirt!!

ROFL! I probably wont see that again until March or April. :scared1:

Here are some more pics: (and YES RJ..I remembered to turn off my date stamp AFTER I took these pics)
Snowman (and big tree inside..one small tree to the far right)

Foyer with Sami looking out the stained glass side lite..

(that blue cabinet was Rick's grandmothers..my grandmother had almost the exact same one in cream..we use it as a foyer table..we have so many antiques that belonged to each of out grandparents..our house is a mismash..but we can't bear to part with any of it..The Nativity Scene is a Little People's from when Kate was a baby..she still loves moving the people around..Last night Joseph was kicked out and a camel was next to Baby Jesus and Mary inside!)
"Big" Tree...2 small trees on the far right
82a5t8z.jpg

we have almost all "meaningful" ornaments...I wanted a tree that didn't have glass balls, but things that have a meaning..like Rick's fireman ornaments..Nick's Star Wars and Harry Potter..and Kate's Disney..we finally have collected enough where the tree looks somewhat filled
(RJ - I forgot to tell you..Rick took Kate to get hers and Nick's ornament this year and she picked "Kiss the Girl" with Ariel and Eric on the boat..I just LOVE Hallmark!!

Mornin' Peeps!

Bets: Friend Cheri just sent me that same ornament!!:thumbsup2

Johnna: :rolleyes1 Um, what happened to your Cowboys? Lost beeg points we did! What dates you gonna be in DL?

Katie, SE, Annie and S/L: Hope the cold and storms aren't too bad for ya...I'd send ya some CA sunshine, but ....um, we don't have any right now! :lmao: It's supposed to rain here.

Nice pics Betsy - oh to be warm again!:goodvibes Actually, we're supposed to warm up some after today to ALMOST 50 I think...that's the kind of forecast I like for our drive back & forth to my parents house...it is easily 10 degrees colder up in the mountains - which means precip down here can be freezing something or other up there! I hate driving 200 miles in THAT! But I take it that you don't own an ice scraper 'eh?!:)

Hey...wasn't TRM supposed to post some pics of her big tree after she got it up?! :confused3

Cheri - I've heard Telluride is nice... We went skiing in Western Maryland last winter for the first time! DS took to it right away. Me. Hummm. Well, you know that old saying about can't teach an old dog new tricks?! Let's just say I confirmed that one! 3 days, 3 lessons and still couldn't make it to the "bunny slope"!:rotfl: I mean I was seriously bad. It was like an episode of I Love Lucy on skis!!:lmao:

Hey hey

RJ - heep beeg raspberry for those Cowboys. I did not trust them against Philly guess I should have listened to that gut instinct feeling. Oh well. Today I am the world's biggest Vikings fan! GO VIKINGS!! Will let you know DL dates. Going to be at the ranch from 12/22 - 1/6 I think. Any chance we could catch up with youse?

Annie - you caught me. I will post pictures of tree. slinking downstairs with camera....

Betsy - You make me laugh. 49 degrees.:rotfl: Why you gotta torture those poor unfortunate souls who live where it snows?

SueEllen!! - didya get email with lotsa names on it? My family peeps want to hold staterooms for Christmas 2010. Or at least they say they do.:confused3
Dermatologist says I am cleared for another year:thumbsup2 Neil not so lucky. I hear he has stitches!:scared:

We will be at "The Beano Suite" in Chateau de Knebel from 12-27 to 1-2 (or is it 3). :woohoo:

.....Why does Neil have stitches?? Did I miss sumthin again??:confused3

My dad never left the Dermo office without stitches..
Rick went a few weeks ago and everything we thought looked "bad" the Doc said was normal...weird!

Betsy! Your sister's house rocks! Where does she live?

RJ - aawwww...going to miss you. But have fun at Chateau de Knebel. Watch out for the snakes though. Here they had to install snake fence.:scared:

DH had mole removed from abdomen. Has to go back in January to have a few things frozen and his other moles photographed! That will take patience. Then we will post the "Annual Neil McDougald mole comparison" photos. That sounds like a hoot huh!?

Gotta run and pick up Ryan. No rain here right now.

Holy Cow! That is amazing, Betsy!

And not to laugh at Neils health, but..."Then we will post the "Annual Neil McDougald mole comparison" photos. That sounds like a hoot huh!?" :lmao: Hope everything comes back ok.

My sister and her family need help...like a 12 step christmas light recovery program!!
http://www.husemanfamilylights.com/9.html

WOW Betsy! Is that seriously your sister's house? (I don't think a 12 step program will be enough steps!) It really amazes me when people do that much - both with their creativity & with their time...how long did it take them to do? When did they start working on it? It's very cool - but what do her neighbors think?!:scared: I'm sure it's quite a draw for onlookers!?

TRM - I'd settle for pics of the tree over the mole comparisons!:goodvibes Hope everything comes out OK... BTW - you mentioned an MRI the other day too that you never 'splained either!:confused3

Fran lives in Tampa..Beano, RJ and Cheri have met her (although, Cheri doesn't remember her...i blame the vino)
If you go to the main page, www.husemanfamilylights.com there is a whole story and pictures that go with it...look at the tabs on top

That is cool.

MRI...? Neil has some sort of cyst on his kidney. no liver. no kidney. They like to watch it and make sure its not going anywhere. I guess. Nothing to worry about or so they say. But thank you for the good wishes.

There was something I was supposed to look up on the internet... hhmm...wonder what it was?:rotfl:

Oh cra* I forgot to post the tree pictures....

oh to catch up.....

Katie: I don't want the cold stuff. Like to go to it and play but always enjoy comin' home to my nice warm abode ( poor Timmy had to walk to school this morning and it was 40 degrees. BAD MOMMY!)

Bets: I did not meet Fran. That was either the cruise before ('03?) or during a part of the Crouton Festivities that I wasn't a part of. So there!

RJ: not to be leaving until the 3rd. unless you sneak out under the cover of darkness. Just remember all of the doors and windows are belled/alarmed...

SE: how do we get on waitlist for new ships? Can we do it if we offer up $$$, say $.30 or $.45? I mean, $.30 per person, of course. Don't want to be too cheap or anything. (Cheri needs to check out her beeg new boat :rolleyes1 )

there are pictures!! One with you in a doorway laughing..and wine in your hand!:rotfl2:

TZM and Ophie have returned from WDW. We were there for an extended weekend of visiting Ophie's brother and his wife, along with her whole family. We did get a chance to see the Candlelight Processional at EPCOT, narrated by Andie McDowell. I like her in the movies that she is in but she needs some work as the narrator. It was her first time doing it and only her second night so I will cut her some slack. Next year she better have her act together though. We would all appreciate it if she would read the story a few times before coming on stage. :confused3 So, other than that, we spent some time at Magic Kingdom, Disney Studios and EPCOT. That is about it. We did get a chance to get on the "new" Spaceship Earth. It is very different. I think that it will take riding it a few times and trying to forget the old one to get used to the changes. Still a cool ride. Just not what we were expecting. There is a new interactive part which is nice. Everyone will have to see for themselves.

It was a bit chilly there this weekend but Ophie and I have been looking forward to a bit cooler weather! It finally came! :woohoo:

Hey Peeps, guess what...........????
