RJ - I got my football picks in on time! Wow - alot of tough calls this weekend. I hope I can keep ahead of Tim! I was gonna say keep on top of Tim but that would be bad and wrong and Ophie would beat me up in July. I really want to catch that Gault guy. Who is he and where can I beat him up?

Love the pictures that have been posted, and katie I have never seen the buckets of booze (too funny!)
So I have found gingerbread martinis (yummy!) I have really been enjoying these.
I also had a delivery arrive at my door the other day--the wonderful Moscato from the ship (WOO HOO!) So now I have Moscato and Rosa Regale here (nyah, nyah, nyah!)

I have to go out tomorrow to pick up the rest of the gifts for the angel tree for Trevor's school. There are 6 families and sadly many of the tags were not taken off of the tree, so I have a lot to pick up tomorrow.

Still have to get out cards, and get presents ready to ship. Haven't even had time to get up my tree yet (I know, the horror!!!) The kids are about to have a mutiny here if I don't get it up this weekend. I'm being threatened. I don't usually wait this long, but I have to rearrange the living room to make room for the tree (darn small house!!!) sheese!

Well, DH made it under 3 hours so it wasn't his worst time yet (once it was 4). He actually is taking today off becuse we have the Verizon guy coming and I'm going to work at the Holiday event at school. Of course the kids have a 2 hour delay today so they will really be wired for this, LOL!

Neil is home so all is good.

My office actually invited me to dinner tonight! So that will be fun. I think. And no other big plans this weekend.

Had my list of final things to do... then this morning I walk into a bedroom only to see a sleeping teenager (who should have been up, dressed, breakfasted and listening to loud music whilst getting dressed), "I don't feel good." <insert screaming mom smiley here>e

He only had 3 classes today so I let him miss the 1st (PE) but made him get up for English (Beeg, heep Beeg paper due Monday) and he was in a good mood - once he figured out that Mom was going to win (and I am 2 1/2 hours down on my time to accomplish my list...) While I am enjoying my calm and peaceful time in Costco , the school nurse calls, "Tim is feeling blahblahblah" - huh, kid might really be sick afterall. Bad mommy!

Take child home and he goes to bed. An hour later (during a rousing game of FISH with other child) I get this text "Can you order Domino's?" <insert "Mom saying AS IF" smiley here>

Morning peeps! What a bust yesterday was for me! Took it off to GET STUFF DONE! HA!

Started out with an appt. for DS at the Orthodontist. It was just a consultation to see if we're ready to start anything this year so I could estimate how much $ to put in our Flex Fund acct. He is very slow at loosing his baby teeth (only lost 6 so far) and he has 2 more loose - but his adult teeth come in BEHIND the baby teeth - they don't fall out first! This is creating a crossbite that we need to get fixed. So this first phase didn't sound TOO bad. He has 2 loose teeth on the top now & the new ones are coming thru behind again. So the guy said maybe in about 6 months we can put braces on those top 4 & 2 back one to fix that. But he's about 3 years away yet from being able to do much else. So OK. About an $1,100 solution for this round and I've got a few months to plan for it.

The battery in my cell phone wigged out! Wasted a lot of time at Verizon - can't replace the battery any more - I didn't have time to deal with replacing it tho - maybe I'll go back later today - AFTER I start my wrapping & packing & go to the P.O. - TODAY is the last day to mail that the P.O. guarantees delivery by ground.

Had trouble finding STUFF to buy. Very frustrated. Missed deals (sold out - no rainchecks blah, blah). Was at it ALL DAY.

Then we had DH's work xmas party last nite. Actually, the owner of his company hosts a party at his country club & it's a mix of his friends & people from work - it's not the WHOLE company. It's an invitation thing. For any of you who golf or follow golf it was at Columbia Country Club in Chevy Chase which is where they had the US Open a couple years ago. Very OLD club with very OLD money. Old men in their cashmere jackets with snowmen embroidered on the lapels...funny.

Anyway, just checking in - gotta go - lots to do before 1:00!!

And if I mised anything, sorry. I'm just skimming through here to give a quick hello. I cant believe how time is flying. After spending 4 hours decorating cupcakes I came home yesterday started cleaning and made another cake. For Cams tailgating party tomorrow Im trying to do the Hershey's Gridiron Cake. For someone who has no creative bone their body, its actually coming out ok. Did some work too.

Now, I just finished running, gotta shower and stuff, then go buy cold cuts and all that good stuff for the family party today at 2:00. Also have to work on getting some stuff for the party tomorrow because the Nor'Easter is coming in around midnight tonight (great!). It looks like we will actually get less snow this time than we did Thursday, but with ice rain wind...a mixed bag as they say.

I can't even think of all the Christams stuff I have to do yet. That starts Monday I guess. Whose bright idea was it to have a kid in December anyway?
