Cold storm headed our way! HA! It was only 28 degrees this am when it started flurries...everything froze up when it hit the ground...... Took me 2 hours and 20 min. to get to work - and I only live 8 miles from the office!!!! I had to stop at a CVS to pee! It has NOT been a good day!! CamColt - this is why we don't like snow down here!!! (Hope u feel better!) Gotta run....

You need to worry about problems with the plane getting stuck wherever it is on its way to you. Don't pilots fly above all the icky weather?

Hey there! Evening rush hour was much better (no pit stops at CVS)! 2 hours and 20 min. to go 8 miles - what a JOKE! Everything is going to freeze back up tho overnite & I'm sure there will be school delays in the morning...

CamColt - I sure hope your flight is OK - it is supposed to stop snowing down here REAL SOON - so it will hopefully be outta your way by tomorrow AM!! I of course am already paranoid about our flights in Jan. as we are flying out of Dulles (during evening rush hour / crossing the river on the American Legion Bridge to VA to get there etc.)! Anyway, when will you be back exactly?! Did you say 5 days? Are you all packed? I hope you have a great trip - check in with us if you can.....

We just had a couple of REALLY windy days here A couple of my wreaths blew off & I had to scour the 'hood looking for them and dear old Mickey & Friends blew over (flimsy thing). So last nite I pounded in some plant stakes behind it & tied the darn thing down! Bricks alone weren't enough in 50 mph winds! Oh, and in the dark you couldn't make out WHAT it was so we had to put a spot light on it to cut down on the glare of the other little lights... So as DS would say "whatever".

Where are Ophie & TZM these days? Did I scare them off now?

So Johnna starts jumping up and down. And talking to the voices in her head. "Can Ryan miss school?" "Baby will be 9 months old." "SueEllen is going to kill me." But its 15 days. 15 days. 15 days. Heaven.

And then reality set in. "HELLO!? McDougald....that is $7K you are talking about. In May. Um...5 months from now. Planning on robbing a bank!? 15 days...with a 9 month old? Are you kidding!? Wait I know! I can take Mom! Works for Betsy! Cause what the heck whats $9K!! And 15 days...we could take it slow...relax....baby will be fine. For 15 days!? But per day...15 days. $7K - its cheaper per day that the 4 day we are taking...."

OK maybe we could just take a 7 day western for the $$ we are paying for 4 days. But no peeps. But 7 days. Maybe with a balcony? I know!! Let's spend 1 1/2 hours on the DCL site and compare cruise prices. Yes, good idea we don't have anything else to do today!

4 day, 15 day, 9 day, 5 day, 7 day western. OK maybe 2009 since there is no repo in 2009. We are definitely going in 2010 - so just wait until 2010 and then book every 2 years. Yes, that is what I will do. 2010, 2012 yay new ships, 2014....

But Neil said we could go in 2008. So we should go...

Yep it's pretty much been like that in my brain ALL DAY LONG.

Glad to hear ressie is good...you were starting to sound just a smidge like me for a minute tho! I am not a bean counter but those numbers DO sound tempting...15 days for $7K?! Just think - that's 2 weeks of not having to go to the grocery store...WOW! (I despise the grocery store!) 2 weeks w/o having to COOK! (I'm not a BAD cook I'd just rather have somebody else do it for me!) 2 weeks of somebody else cleaning the bathroom & making the bed... OH!! But how much Captain I could consume in 15 days!? I'd be one of those people who fall overboard on Carnival all the time!
