So, what are "The Peeps" doin' this weekend?

Nothing exciting going on in Maryland....will start the cleaning & laundry process this evening. That always seems to make an appearance on the old "to do" list.... Plan to catch up Sat. eve. with an old friend from my job 2 jobs ago....she's supposed to come up for a couple of cocktails. DH has the Redskins 1st home game on Sunday so he'll be gone with his buddies most of day / evening.... I would like to squeeze in a pedicure on Sun. afternoon...and this MIGHT BE our last really nice, warm weekend (you never know here) so I would like to lay out for a couple of hours on Sun. while he's at the game (my FL tan is fading already)!! We'll see. Those silly shrubs out front still need trimmed too.....but then again, the truck still never got waxed either! I just talk about everything that I need to do then I turn around & do something else!!!!

What about everybody else? What's goin' on? Did we scare Imelda off already?

Not much going on this weekend here...just working and hopefully grabbing some last minute sun time too. Gonna be 90 tomorrow, but then I think summers gone. Soccer season starts tomorrow so to begin with a bang, both kids have games at 9:00 AM! So much for sleeping past 6:00 on Saturdays for the next 2 months.

WAIT! Everyone's having Happy Hour without me?

Just saw "Doug" on his way to Mexico. He's building a house or two with my uncle and a bunch of peoples from church. He's been up for it for months and wouldn't you know... "aw, I don't want to gooooo." While I was loading the car I even heard a loud OUCH MY SHOULDER. I told him we'd go over to uncle's house, drop off the stuff, get to the ER and still make the group departure time. Wow, all of a sudden shoulder feels better. Guess miracles happen when you do go things, huh? now get down there, build houses and do it with a happy/giving heart d&mn it!"

Soccer season starts tomorrow so to begin with a bang, both kids have games at 9:00 AM! So much for sleeping past 6:00 on Saturdays for the next 2 months.

Yep - feeling your pain! 1st soccer games here tomorrow also. Lucky me the early riser that I am - we got the 8:00 game!

In fact, 5 of our 9 games are at 8:00 - good thing there is a starbucks right down from the soccer fields!!

Other than that....um....laundry. Like Annie I sure would like to tackle some yardwork. But...Football starts this weekend. Gonna be busy.

Yeah 'cept this is rec league not comp league so we only practice 1 hour twice a week.

Today our team did well. It's weird the girls who excel at practice were dead out there today and they others really surprised me. So that is great. Our two first time players did great. We tied 2-2. A few girls will be running laps for me at practice Tuesday night for yelling at our goalie for missing the last goal. Unacceptable to Coach Johnna. Makes me angry.

OK - going to the Tracy Dry Bean Festival to watch our neighbors girls dance. Should be hot.
