So, I allowed my children to have FB pages, so long as:

1. I control their passwords;
2. Anyone who wants to be their friend must be my friend.
3. I can delete (and have deleted) their friends who say/do things I do not approve of (foul language, bullying, etc.).

We have very similar rules with our oldest... and my younger son knows he has to wait until he's 13 before we'll let him have any kind of social network account.

Last year, after a long and stubborn fight against all that is social networking, I finally broke down and signed up for a FB account. Both my DW and mother had both signed up within a week of one another, and being their on-call computer geek, I was immediately asked a number of questions, which I could not answer. I signed up to help them, thinking that I wouldn't use it...

What I found was something completely different. I was able to reconnect with friends (new and old). Some of which I haven't spoken with in over 10 years.

FB can get quite bloated with the "cute" little apps. I'm sick of all the silly requests to take quizzes, pass drinks, join causes, etc. But, what I do find powerful about FB is that I no longer have to worry about whether or not I have the latest contact info for my friends. By sending them messages through FB, they control what e-mail address to which it gets sent.

I'm beginning to see the pros/cons to the FB thing. I am also the "tech support" for my family and I'm surprised no one has asked me about FB yet!

My DW started her Facebook page about 3 weeks ago so she could find one of her old high school friends. Since then, she has accumulated well over 50 "friends" and she is becoming much more interested in keeping up-to-date with her Facebook profile.

I... on the other hand... do NOT have a Facebook profile and have not had much desire to create one. And now my DW is teasing me because I don't have one. Which is (for some reason) annoying me. So here's my question to you guys... Do you have your own Facebook profile?

Yes, I have a FB page; but can't say I use it too much. I did in the beginning and reconnected with a couple of people from HS, but, that was about it. I end up talking to the same people I do anyway outside of FB! But it is easy enough to set it up, so if it makes you feel better (so your wife doesn't have one up on you), you should just set it up, but then never use it (that will really annoy her!!).

I think we'll be able to meet up almost any day by the sounds of it. We plan to hit the parks in the morning, have lunch, then head back to CSR for some pool and nap time. Currently, the only days not planned out are Sat and Sun.

1] Find a post with said logo on it
2] Right click the Picture and click the Properties.
3] Copy the Address (URL) by highlighting the entire link and Cntl+c.
4] Goto your "User CP"
5] Click the Edit Signiture link
6] Now in your Edit window click the insert image icon.
7] Paste the Address you copied in step 3. (Cntl+v)
8] Click the save signiture button.

ok, my wife is gonna kill me!! i was poking around the wdw site, checking out the deals on rooms for ap holders. i found a room at the contemp, tower, park view, for 7 nights for about $1200 off reg. $. I BOOKED IT!! so, im fiquring, the dif between car. beach and the contemp. is (deduct my deposits i paid allready) $1400. more. im also fiquring this is a once and done thing. only married for 25 years once. (after this i maybe back to 0 ) im plaing on telling her when we are on dis property and she says,"the car. beach is over there, were are you goin,first time here?" only 16 more days, wish me luck!

... that's what my DD(6) would say! Do us a favor... have the camera ready for that moment in time and space when your DW realizes what you have done. Gotta say... it's a make-it or break-it trip change! But that is totally awesome
