I'm totally going insane!!!! First trip in June 06 for Father's Day.

2nd trip in June 07 for Father's Day.

Unable to go this year for Father's Day and Star Wars Weekends,
I'm having DISNEY Withdrawl!!!!!!

Plans are staring to come together for June 09. Hope we can put
together with DS's and DD and all the activities of New to High School,
sports, lessons etc.

Keep me going guy's while we plan for 09.

Calling all Dads I could use a little help if you have a minute to spare. I have a thread that many of you know about called "Take a Ride on Old Band-Aid" http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1799846 . For the last month it has been on the "Theme Parks Attractions and Strategies" board. Yesterday one of the moderators moved it to the "Theme Parks Community" board. Unfortunately there is very little traffic on that board and I don't get the variety of responses and posts that I did where I originally started the thread. I was hoping that I could call on the power of the Dads Club and ask you to write a brief private message to Brian_WDW74 and very nicely and very politely request he reconsiders his decision and moves "Take a Ride on Old Band-Aid" back to its original location.

Im up for that....Im not that famililar with where the monorails go...maybee you start a new thread " Around the World on Old Band-Aid"" and impliment a stratagy for getting to and from different places in the parks/resorts by their colors with their matching smells...its your thread but this would be helpfull as well as very fun. Just Askin.

Also, go to AAA and get their free Disney Vacation Planning books. I have used them in place of my son's bedtime story on several occasions!

I have used the AAA books as well. My last day of work, and we are off to WDW tomorrow. I was beginning to think that this day would never get here.

You know, chill, patience is a virtue... I just got home late last night after a very long travel day - filled with very stupid delays. Ended up sitting in Vegas for about 4 hours instead of 1, and then had to endure a 100% full, very noisy, raucous flight with all the folks coming into Indy for the 500.

I was going to transfer the 2nd half of the pix from the camera to the laptop on the plane, but decided to watch a movie instead. (I brought along both The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe and Indiana Jones & The Last Crusade to get into the mindset once again for both new flicks that we'll be going to see this weekend - watched TLTWTW on the way out to CA and Indy on the way home again). SOOO - with that said - I'm hoping to get something uploaded tonight or tomorrow. Don't worry - there are plenty of OBA photos to share...

Oh the joy of air travel! I am glad to hear you made it home safely and only slightly annoyed. I always find traveling from west to east to be a little harder of an adjustment and with time changes it is a waste of an entire day.

Oh the joy of air travel! I am glad to hear you made it home safely and only slightly annoyed. I always find traveling from west to east to be a little harder of an adjustment and with time changes it is a waste of an entire day.

Yep - I've never really cared for the west to east flights - but oh well. This one topped them all for stupidity though - safety is a good thing yes, but the reason that the airline gave just seems so stupid - possible, I suppose so, but I'm no expert in aviation equipment either.

They said that on approach/final landing into Vegas, the plane we were waiting on (which was already late by 45 min) - a big bird of some sort crashed into the windshield, cracking it. Then we had to wait for a replacement plane to arrive from San Antonio to get us home to Indy. 2.5 hours later we were boarding - then got to sit on the runway for another hour while we waited for about 24 planes ahead of us to take off. Ughh. The joys of travel.

BTW - I got the photos off the camera this afternoon, now I just have to figure out Photobucket and at least get the uploaded - but we're headed out for dinner tonight (actually a night when we're all home with nothing on the schedule!! ) - so it will be later on if not tomorrow.

And there was a big question mark next to it.

The Disney Insider is usually a little behind in the news, so I assumed it was going to talk about the customizable mickey ears. But now that you combined that with the late Nov hours, I am very curious.

At the Chapeau shop in the MK you can create a custom set of mouse ears. My understanding (read it in an article or a post on it somewhere) is you can pick from different ears, hat type, etc. to create you own unique set.

You choose the Beenie, You choose the Ears ( can be different) and then get it Stitched with a name. Maybe even a few trinketts added on if i recall correctly.
