Any dads heading to WDW or DL in late April or in May?

We're heading down May 15-May 19. Just a short trip but any trip is good. Just enough to get me going to plan the next one.

Ya, Flat Stanley got to go, my daughter is in the third grade so she got this assignment, Flat Stanley got to stay in Florida at my Aunts for a little longer too.

Hi guys! Count me in! I've always been a Disney fan....but I got HOOKED when I went on my first trip as a "Disney Dad".

Me, the wife, my 5 yr old son and 3 yr old daughter went for the first time as a family (along with 8 others--my parents, sister and her family, brother and his fiance--13 of us in all) last August. Best vacation ever!

Ever since, I will admit I have become a true Disney fanatic. Also a new DVC member!! I've been reading the boards a long time and this is only my second post ever. I'm sure there will be more.......but I will say the information learned here from fellow Disney fans has been truly invaluable--and lots of fun!

We have always gotten our worth out of it. We are not big sitdown eaters either but seem to get the moneys worth out of it. DsF like to have a drink ot 2 as well and that's included.


If you do a few ADRs a day then it will save you a ton if you do manly CSs then not as much but still better then most other discounts you get.

It's also nice with the new rules you can just get it at Guest relations anytime and not just phone orders during regular business hours. We will get ours again for this next trip when we activate our new PAPs

This is really sad! I have'nt listened to the Pod Cast in a while and I just viewed the link that you posted. Bob will be truly missed on the DIS Pod Cast. He read one of my questions back in November '07 and I saw him on his "Kart" leaving EPCOT in December. He will be missed!

Never did the card...only have done the DDP. We made that work to the tune of $500!

Looks like I'll be down in August for the Law Enforcement Games...fishing the bass tournament and playing with another agency on their soccer team---man it is going to be HOT!!!!! I think we'll be on Lake Toho for the bass tourney--guess I'll be exploring down there some over the next few weeks!!!

So, how are the new dads...I know someone had a baby!!!

Chill...just read about Old Band Aid...you are too funny! I will let you know after I return in August! There is no doubt something but it's not firmly stuck in my cranium. I'm terribly afraid however that it will be after August!

Yeah, I noticed that - every time I've seen him on other boards, I've thought about my pal chill....and did you notice, my welcome message included the colors?!?!? All in honor of you, chill! Purple is nice - but I still like BLUE, and have had the honor of razzing you about it. Can't wait to get on the next generation Mark VII's RED in a couple more weeks, and then BLUE later this fall at DL. Maybe they've even seen your 2 threads and will add that old band-aid scent - I'll report back and let you know after I return!

We will be in port Canaveral, May 8,+ 9, before the cruise. We have a big DIS meet planned at "Fish lips" near the port on Fri. night I am sure that all will be welcome. Then after the cruise I will be in DL for 2/3 days on May 25-27.
