Just got word in the past hour, like minniekissed me I am now an official DVC member! I just closed. My new home away from home BWV.

Well, I must say, today was one of my happiest days as a dad. We received a call this morning letting us know that our DD has passed Math for the year and graduation is a go!!! We were sweating it out, but the third marking period ended this past Thursday and our DD received enough points during the first three marking periods to reach the needed 5 credits for the year!!! Let the party begin!!!

Indeed an excellent day for the Dad's. And here's another dad update...John is approaching 30,000 votes!!! Just cast number 29,710...he has a lead of about 20,000 and I think we're getting close to being able to call this one a "W" very soon! Thanks again Dad's.

Chill - how's your baby situation coming?

Nothing yet Cousin. In my country the women must suffer the full term and then perform the dance of the baklavas (aka the dance of 1000 contractions) to start the labor.

10 days till due date and I am praying she is not a tax baby I would like to be able to enjoy her birthday.

Well keep us posted! Have fun with your part of the dance... you DO get a part, even if you don't fully realize it yet.

All 3 of ours were c-sections - the first was emergency (cord wrapped around his neck), second was just too big, and 3rd was just scheduled by DW & her doc since she had already had two that way. 1 & 2 brought tons of contractions - in fact we were sent home with #1 because they weren't the right kind of contractions only to go back the next day. THen #2 we were at the hospital for about 24 hours while she endured all kinds of pain until they realized he was too big and had to just pull him.

I'll keep prayin' for you and your DW for a safe and relatively easy delivery.

Ok, my ears were burning

Anyway, sorry for the delay guys, but I arrived home 230 Saturday afternoon after 26 hours of travel time

Wonderful welcome home by my family, and I'm now getting used to sleeping without incoming alarms.....though a loud wail from the Nursery is a close second

Will be checking in from time to time as I adjust
