Just wanted to say thanks to all of you Dis Dads that were nice enough to sign my guestbook and say such nice things. Setting up a website is all kind of new to me my expertise is software application but I had this fee space so it was either football or Disney, Disney won. I know there's not much to it right now but it's only a few days old, it'll keep growing I am definitely adding a specific link to the Dis Dad's Club.

By the way in 4 days 13 hours 2 minutes and 42 seconds I'm outta here sideways heading to Disney. Anyone from "The Club" going to be there.

Lucky!!!! Have a great time and please say hi to Old Band-Aid for me.

MY thread Riding Old Band-Aid http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1749669

 :cool1: :yay:

I think your wish came true, as, you are you.........:rotfl2:

Sorry, couldn't resist that one......;)

:rotfl: yeah, you got it... I wish IT were me too - dumb laptop buttons... :lmao: lousy operator, too! Sometimes my fingers don't keep up with my thoughts...

- and I literally am sitting here now cracking up and tearing up! My DS just came in to ask what is so funny, and I couldn't even talk. At least one of us wishes he were me...

Yes...they are nice...not far from the themed pool...and lighted.

You can rent rackets and balls (free as DVC member) from the resort.

:thumbsup2

Not that I would ever do it but... How were the rental racquets? Did they seem to be, how do I say this... up to todays standards?

Maybe I can move down there and start a whole tennis facility, run the shop, teach lessons. And in return they can let me stay there forever!

I'm new to the DIS world but am catching on (Please excuse my lack of knowledge of acronyms, as it hard sometimes to quickly recongnize what people are talking about). These threads are very informative and was about to leave the site stricly on that assumption until I caught this thread!!! I have to say, I'm guilty of some of the "Bi-Laws" of being in the DIS Dad's Club! So I kindly request to be invited in.:) I'm pretty sure I would've never registered had I not seen this thread. My girlfriend/future wife loves the DIS site and when planning a WDW trip, is always on getting great tips and ideas from you all (thanks for any suggestions she might've received from any of you!) Like you all, I'm love WDW:yay: We are currently booked and planning our 3rd trip to WDW (Sept. '08) and are very excited!!! Since our 1st trip in Dec. '05, I've been hooked:santa: Just the whole feeling you get being there with the ones you love and everything it took to get there, makes actually being there more than any words I can think of at times. This time we're taking our new addition to the family, our 18 month old daughter and we're both nervous about how she'll take her 1st trip. She is very well behaved and that's not so much the problem. It's the long hours and all the stuff you try and see/experience. Everytime we've went, we've always said we never got to experience everything we wanted to. Our plan is to go to park early, with a nap in between at the resort, and dinner and hopefully some more park time at night. From the tips she received, that's the blueprint for the most enjoyable time with an infant. But I think it'll all work out. Just wanted to chime in, say hi, and ask for an invite. Seeing this definitely brought a smile to my face as I sit dreadfully at work in my office:sad2: Hope everyone continues to be blessed...

WELCOME to the fun BelievelandDad08! It's always great to see another dad who's caught the magic. I bet you can't wait til Sep!!! We go again in Oct, and can't stand how far off it seems. :rotfl:

Hi Dad's...super busy weekend. No :surfweb: no :happytv: (except for the Masters) and still no closing :scared1: on my DVC. Keeping fingers and toes crossed that does happen today!

Welcome BelievelandDad08! Everyone says September is a good time to go, crowds are down so you should have a ball!

DS7 has a birthday today and we celebrated yesterday! He was beyond fired up and his grandmother caved and got him the steel cage wrestling ring for his WWE guys! DW can't stand that he likes it...I only have a problem with the non-wrestling crap but he LOVES it!

DD8 and DS11 had their tamburitzan group concert Saturday and we were consumed with that! They did a great job and looked so cute in their costumes! DS11 hates when we tell him but he has sooooo much talent...hope God can smack him in the head and make him realize it someday!

Looking for soup recipes all week...DW is having surgery Thursday on her jaw to correct a bite problem...hurts when I think about it. Keep her in your thoughts and prayers...expecting nothing but the best but she's going to be in some major discomfort when it's all said and done!

I'm sorry to here that about your wife, I know the equation {wife in pain = husband in more pain}. My prayers are with you guys. I hope it's not as uncomfortable as you anticipate. Good luck.

Thanks! I did finally get to check out your site...nice work.

Just got the word...we have closed!!!!!!!!!! MKM and family are official owners at SSR!!!! :yay: :woohoo:  :thumbsup2 :cool1:

Thanks for the warm welcome. I've also heard it's nice to go in September. It rained very little while we were there 2 years ago. Minniekissedme, I'll keep your wife in my prayers... My girlfriend has problems with her jaw too.:headache: It could really get bad sometimes. Does anyone have a tip on how to come across cool/different avatars? I've looked to spice up my signature (I think that's it) and haven't been successful. Again, thanks for the welcome....

Hey, all! Been meaning to reply to this thread for a while... it took some time to get through all the posts. Anyway... I'd like to join the club and partake in the fun that happens here. It's awesome knowing there are other dads out there that admit to having a Disney "problem" :rotfl:
