Congrats Barry, DW and I have talked about having a third but the age old problem came up... 5 is not and even number for rides so.... 5 actually = 6. You have a busy couple of years ahead of you. :lmao:
Yes, yes we do. Going to be a lot of adjustment. With one child we could relax and play a zone defense. When the second one came along we were forced to play man to man. 3 kids? I don't know - some kind of Cover 2 and hope the linebacker can jump any slant routes?

THERE YOU GO BARRY!!! 6!!!! I CAN HEAR THE MUSIC NOW COME NEXT SUMMER.:lmao:

Thanks Dave! I'll hum that as I'm flinging dirty diapers across the room to the diaper genie.

With this baby talk, I have a question, has anyone ever gone to Disney with a very young child. I have booked a vacation for next August and we will have our little one by then. I was hoping someone would have some insight about traveling to the world with a 6 month old baby.
Our first was 7 weeks old when we took her (she was a foster placement after we had the trip booked, so we adapted and took her with us). It was a bit of a challenge, but manageable. For the most part she was fine sleeping in the stroller. Just be ready to find some A/C and rest for a while if (s)he needs it. All of the parks have nice baby care centers - including dark, private places for mom to nurse.

Oh......Barrys pregnant!! He's always trying to take this DisDad thing to the next level.

Show off. :lmao:
Hey, If Arnold Schwarzenegger can do it, so can I. :thumbsup2

:wave2:

I see a new thread has begun. :) I've been crazy busy lately, and have not had much time for DIS stuff... but am sitting on a very long, boring conference call right now and thought I'd check a few things out.

Hope you're all doing well.

Good afternoon sir :cool1:

Our son was 5 months old when we went in 2006. We did have help with my parents, who traveled with us. But you can take it easy, and make use of the child swap passes for the "big" rides.

You might need to blitz a good bit, just to limit their time in the pocket. If they get comfortable, they'll pick you apart.

Otherwise known as the Great Movie Ride, Hall of Presidents, IASW... :rolleyes1

I have four words for you: D V C. OK, three words. And I guess they're more like letters. Either way, many of the newer 1 bedrooms sleep 5 :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Barry, congrats on the new mini-rafiki. As for DVC, BLT and AKV Kidani add an extra bathroom when you go 1BR and up. Definitely worth it. Or, you could wait for the Grand Floridian to add their DVC rooms, which may actually charge you a child to purchase there.

took DD in August when she was 7 months. We hit the baby care centers in each park!! They are great for getting out of the heat, changing diapers, and feeding. Bring your own diapers if you can, they are very expensive on property and maybe it was just me, but they were also limited to only certain sizes.

In MK, we liked to take DD down to the old swan boat landing off to the side of the castle for a nap. Character photos are too cute at that age. We must have one of her grabbing every character's nose!

Sitting at my desk, working on some production, meanwhile, right outside my bay window, a cute little blonde in a black swimsuit is standing outside with a sign advertising a local smoke shop.

I'm finding it very difficult to work.

And, even though I don't smoke, I suddenly want a cigarette....

What's a DisDad to do?

Also Congrats to Barry, and Lord help the child.

Pics or it didn't happen, Patrick!

Pics or it didn't happen, Patrick!

I tried getting a pic on my cellphone, but I don't have a zoom function on it. :guilty:

Some city workers did stop to chat her up and get their picture taken with her though. :lmao:

:thumbsup2

Then get closer.

I managed to snap off a quick pic, we'll see if we can load it up tonight for you old pervs. :thumbsup2

See, if they did it, you can do it! :lmao:

The big difference is that they drove up in their little truck, got their pic and drove off. I've been sitting there in front of her for the last hour, gonna look a little weird if I went up to her now to get a pic, then go back to my desk and continue to try to not stare at her.
