Yes... we are riding this one out. I'm very relieved that Irene is losing steam. Looks like she'll go right over us as a category 1 which is a LOT better than the original Cat 3 forecast.
At this point we'll start seeing tropical storm force winds in the early AM hours. Hurricane force winds around noon tomorrow. This thing is soooo big that I am not looking forward to the amount of time it is going to take to get out of here. They are calling for 10-12 inches of rain of the next two days.

Don, I hope that this is more hype than impact, but I will also be praying for you and all the east coast families that they get though this storm.

Hey guys! Been outside guetting all the "missiles" put away or tied down or whatever. Been a long day ou in the heat. Now we are just waiting for Irene to show up and see what she's got. Took a few minutes to put to use an old webcam I had laying around. Here's the live report from mu room over the garage:

A few extra cool items we scored last night, Monorail pilot wing stickers - train conducter card - speedway driver license - All 4 press dimes. I found out that I was looking in the wrong spot for the 4 transportation cards I still need you have to get them from the water taxis at DTD.

Today is a 4 park plus DTD greatest hits day.

Speaking of DS, he and I are just hanging and watching the Red Sox. He seems into it, which is good, won't take too much arm twisting to make him a Sox fan.

I also caught him in the hospital nursery illegally video-taping the other babies cries and feeding patterns, so he's clearly a Belichick disciple, which means he'll like the Pats too... Score.
