Hmm... So... I have $1500 burning a hole in my pocket and I'm looking to put money down on our trip to Disney. I'm still up in the air regarding putting money toward QSDP now, or waiting to see if it's free later. Right now there are no discounts that will help us during our stay (11/11-11/19) so the choice is to book the $3773 option (CSR Standard Room, 9-day MYW+QSDP), or $2654 (same, no QSDP). If I do the QSDP now I know that I it's paid for if no deals arise later, but I'm still out that money that I'm paying down until my 9/28 cutoff (Roughly $575/mo). If something DOES come up, and I get a portion of that back, how does Disney give it back to you? Refund? Merch? A fat wad of Mickey Dollars?

Bueller? Aaron? Bueller?

If you are still 45 days out or more - then it is a refund.

If you are less then 45 days out, and the change is less then your original rate there is a $100 service fee.

If you are 45 days out, and the change is greater then your original rate (add days or upgrade resort) then there is no penalty to change.

Within a week - $200 (unless new rate is higher).

"Cobb County police officer Mike Bowman said drivers can expect zombies and simulated gunfire, which could lead to traffic delays next week."

Simulated gunfire, as opposed to the actual gunfire to which they've become accustomed? I know they don't want 12,000 people calling in about shots fired on a production set, but if there is live ammo going off somewhere, I'd hope somebody doesn't attribute it to zombies.

Also:

"Sorry I'm late..."
"Stuck in traffic?"
"No, there were zombies."

It's Atlanta, the residents there can tell you the caliber, ammunition quality, weapon make and model just on the sound of the gunshots alone...:lmao:

I'm all for keeping my money as long as possible. If there is not going to be a cost difference, then why pay today? Also, I just don't like the DPs. We did them in the beginning, but found we like to eat differently than DP permits.

anyone hear from nate???? :confused3 i wonder if he went to the support a weiner rally!:lmao: i hope there not making you work nate, i hate when that happens.:thumbsup2

We like the dining plan because it's easy for us to work with and with us finances are always an issue. Having it paid for is one more thing to make the trip more enjoyable by stripping things that could cause issues.

Thanks!

It sure is quiet around here these days. :rolleyes1

Is page 201 too early to start a race to the finish? If so, I'll see you guys on DDC XI: No Girls Allowed. I'm headed out of town for the Pokemon Videogame Championships tomorrow. Will post updates on FB and try for here as well. Wish my boys luck! Win or lose, its a good memory for them and hopefully a good lesson (either about hard work paying off or about picking yourself up after a loss).

This one is moving slow...at least for us :rotfl2:

I don't know the stats, but it feels like this thread has lasted longer than the others. I like the sub-forum and have posted on other threads. Hopefully, this will save Don a little work.

Best of luck to your boys! :goodvibes:thumbsup2

Been offline getting ready for the trip, so some catching up to do.

Christopher, sorry to hear about your loss. My sincerest condolences.

Welcome new dads. Dive right in and have fun.

Funny thing happened yesterday. DD and I were shopping at Publix for snacks for the trip. As we are finishing and headed down the last aisle, a kid that works there asked if we were done shopping. DD said yes and he grabs the cart and takes it to a just opened cashier. It is our regular Publix and I have seen the kid smiling and ogling at DD. She doesn’t know him and he is not her type (not that she has a type). She gets to pay with her debit card from her just opened checking account.

Without asking, he grabs the cart again and it’s off to the car. I tell her to go ahead and I would catch up. Leaving the store, he is clapping everyone on the back acting cool to show her he is a BMAP (Big Man at Publix). When we get in the car, I’m laughing and she tells me to shut up. She also told me that he said she looked like Fergie. My thought bubble is confused. Sarah Ferguson? Oh, the singer Fergie. Totally made fun of the situation all the way home.

WooHoo, let's go Mavs! :cheer2:

This morning on my way to work the local sports talk radio guys were talking about headlines they would like to run the day after if the Mavs win the championship. The top vote getter was:

Miami, How Does My Dirk Taste?! :rotfl::rotfl2:

But I think they are getting ahead of themselves. This is a close, close series. It could go either way.

Bet they were singing a different toon after game three. I still feel good about the Heat's chances. Would not be surprised if LaBron goes crazy. You're right it has been a close series. And entertaining.

Fed, you would not happen to be the technical advisor for the series?
