II thought of fishing and the SeaRaycers too. I think fishing starts at $250. I've done the boats before and they were fun but not very exciting. They only go about 10-15 mph. It felt veeerrrrrrrry slow.

Not a whole lot of "Race" in the Sea Raycers.....that's for sure:lmao::lmao:

Another thing to throw into the hat, I didn't catch the age of the boys, but the Richard Petty Driving Experience is letting teens ride free with an adult paid ride along (a little under $100.00)....it's a blast...and right out side MK:thumbsup2

Thanks Fed! You got me out of the basement! Second to last is not that bad.

Your begining to worry me with this 18 talk. You haven't crossed over to the darkside have you?

QUOTE]

I don't plan on getting used to being there...:lmao::lmao:

In regard to the 18....Uhhhh...NO

This is my 500th post. I think all but 5 of the posts were on here. The ones that weren't were on that transportation board with that whole bus seating thing. (I know some of you remember that.) To the regulars thanks for the great conversations over the last couple of years. To the new guys and ones that don't post, jump in and start. Everyone here is friendly and willing to share their experiences.

Thanks!

Congrats Kevin on reaching #500! Great job. :thumbsup2 And oh yeah... that bus seating thing... :rotfl: I thought about it all once again just last week while there. It was awesome watching not only my sons offer their seats to others who needed them, but my daughter too! I only sat if the bus was pretty much empty.

Top of the morning gentlemen :thumbsup2

I just wanted to say thanks to all of you for allowing me to have an outlet for my Disney addiction. I have laughed more reading this then I could have imagined. We have shared laughs, struggles and joys. Even though we may be seperated by miles and modem cables (they still use those, right??) we are bonded for our love of family and the dream that Mr. Disney brought to life. Cheers fellow DisDads :drinking1

Welcome to all of the new dads as well :thumbsup2:cool1::thumbsup2

Congrats on #500! We're glad you're here.

On a separate note, I'll PM you... but next Tuesday is looking the best to me...

OK...soooo I've had this Hubble Picture of the Butterfly Nebula as my Desktop background at work for months...and was wondering if y'all think this looks like a Hidden Mickey...Profile...not a classic °o°

It gives me one to get a point over on the wife :lmao:

Come on Doc what ever happened to surgery by candlelight? Dr. Quin Medicine WOMAN could do it, why cant you?
I second this notion.

Great find! lol

As for the Red Bull, that day was the first and last time I ever drank that beverly.... but it did it's job well.:thumbsup2

There used to be one called "Whoop @$$". It was even branded "Open a can of" you get the point. It would snap you upright!! Taste was horrible but it would keep you up for many many hours! It has been removed from the shelves...I dont understand why?

Good Eye, Nate! But I went ahead and took care of just a little bit of "housekeeping" for Disney.

Nice job, Kevin! :thumbsup2

Feel your pain with my F150...won't even go there with the boat!!

Feet per gallon is my normal measuring stick:lmao::lmao:

My dad used a Chevy Duallie with a 454ci V8 to haul around a horse trailer. I am pretty sure it was calibrated in gallons per mile instead of miles per gallon.

Today was a hard day...Richards' funeral was today.

I have had this family in my thoughts since you first mentioned what happened, and I am simply overwhelmed with how awful all this must be for them. I am glad to hear that the daughter's prognosis is looking better. I guess any ray of hope is shining especially brightly for them right now.

So this is my 1000th post.

Congratulations on reaching the 1 kilopost!

They bought their tickets... I say - let 'em crash!

Auntie Em! Auntie Em! It's a twister!

Any tips for staying awake while driving 17 hours through the night?!?

Let's see... my wife did about 15 hours driving last May overnight. She slept for most of the day before we left, got up the morning we left, did a followup with her eye doctor the morning we left, and then slept until noon or so. Oh, and she had LASIK eye surgery the day before we left, and the Valium that they gave her for the procedure may have helped with being able to sleep straight through the night before. I'd suggest NOT doing the whole surgery the day before thing. On the drive, she mostly drank a lot of diet Coke and listened to old DIS Unplugged podcasts.

Ok, lots to catch up on. First of all, welcome new dads, welcome returning lapsed members, and happy birthday John! :thumbsup2
Hmmm...so my daughter apparently can't get ahead by marrying a doctor or banker, either. What does that leave? An AIG executive? :rotfl2:

I second the welcomes to new and returning folks and the Happy Birthday to John! You have managed to keep yourself alive another year. That's basically how I treat my birthdays now...

If you had $100 to do something 'special' or different in Disney with your 20 and 17 year old sons while your wife and daughter went for the afternoon tea at the GF what would it be???

Take them to Restaurant Marrakesh Morocco and watch the Belly dancer! :thumbsup2

That was going to be my suggestion. Maybe it wouldn't be the sons' first choice out of everything in the world, but for a Disney experience, it could be right in the wheelhouse.

Yes, I agree. I also found a few others in there. :)

Great Find Nate:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Barry....glad to see you utilizing your photoshop talents on someone else's picture:lmao::lmao:

I see it! I see it! :yay:

And Happy Birthday Tex! :bday:

Studies have shown that the more birthdays a person celebrates, the longer they live...
