Ok, time for the weekly NASCAR fantasy league update (a few days delayed)...

... the fantasy results, we had another big shake up at the top of the standings. Duck Martin is the new leader after posting a 348 as the high score of the week. $6 Disney Racers had a very rough week and dropped all the way from first to sixth. Right now it is about 200 points separating first from last place so as long as everybody sets their lineups and scores points every week, nobody is out of if yet.

The standings atfter week 7 - Samsung Mobile 500
  1. Duck Martin 1632
  2. birdslightyear 1570
  3. Mater's Racers 1560
  4. Pride Rock Motorsports 1527
  5. Jungle Cruisers 1498
  6. $6 Disney Racers
  7. Test Track Dummies 1481
  8. Rolling Thunder Racing 1442
  9. Taxidermy Tech 1428
  10. DF Racing 1425

The high score of the week belongs to Duck Martin - 348 pts
  • Carl Edwards
  • Ryan Newman
  • Clint Bowyer
  • Paul Menard

Next week is another wild card race on the high banked superspeedway in Talladega, AL. Good luck everyone!

You'd think I'd be somewhere other than last...:confused3:confused3:lmao::lmao:

Freaking Hamlin at Martinsville (where he's usually money...even in a rough year)...

Then I got so wrapped up in my race car drivin', I forgot the race was Saturday night and didn't switch my lineups...

Yeah, that won't happen again:lmao:

It was a very rough week for me. I will hopefully be able to make a comback this week. Good luck all!

WOW...that manager of the Duck Martin team must be a genius. :rolleyes1

:bday: Happy Birthday John! :bday:

Congrats to all the post milestones going on....I hit 200 the other day and didn't even realize it! :thumbsup2

I'm in dire need of some support here guys....I have three days of work to go...just not sure if I can make it through! :rotfl:

Any tips for staying awake while driving 17 hours through the night?!?

5 Hour Energy, a coke, and a Snickers. Drove 24 hours straight from Grand Canyon to Louisiana. It helped that my mother-in-law was with us. It gave me the encouragement to get home as FAST as I could to spend as little time with the Beverly as possible! :rolleyes1

Back in high school, I used to drink Moutain Dew by the case. Since then I've laid off the stuff, so now when I drink it, it really hits me good.
I also like loading up my iPod with podcasts - Disney ones, sports ones, comedy ones. I can pop the ear buds in and not disturb any of the people sleeping. I find that having to listen and pay attention keeps me more alert and focused on the road, where as music can drift you off to sleep.

Hmmm...so my daughter apparently can't get ahead by marrying a doctor or banker, either. What does that leave? An AIG executive? :rotfl2:
How about a Systems Administrator? Yeah, the money's not that great, but you have lot's of DIS time.

To be fair, Brian has come up with a good plan for that. At least, I think it's a good one because it involves me eating pizza too. :thumbsup2
:thumbsup2

Have a bowl of coffee ice cream. Wash it down with 4 Red Bulls. Then eat 3 Pixie Sticks. One Snickers bar. And then 4 more Red Bulls. :hyper:

Holy Peanut Butter! If you do that, imagine how much money you'll save on gas. You can push the car to Orlando and still make it in record time!

I update my trip report this morning. These things are hard.

You should really PM Don, and ask him for some tips on writing Trip Reports...he's a real pro...he just cranks out one update after another.

I will see you there!! We will be there June 3rd to the 11th:thumbsup2 look for me on the 4th sitting in one of those fancy new cabanas. We scored an all day reservation. I get it all to myself in the morning :cloud9:the rest of the family is going to DTD. They are coming back to the resort in the afternoon.

Definately. See you there!

1st order of business:

Conclusion? You had better keep a close "eye" on next week's episode! :lmao:
Anyone "seen" Vance since last week? Hmm...

Ok, lots to catch up on. First of all, welcome new dads, welcome returning lapsed members, and happy birthday John! :thumbsup2

I think I need to look into the side TA business thing. Not to take business away from you guys, of course, but I'm just thinking of the buddies I've helped plan Disney trips over the years... :scratchin

Nicely said, Chris. It's been great getting to know you and your family.

Ugh...sounds like it was tough all around. Still praying for these guys.

(apologies to any AIG executives here)

Great to have you here too!

Thank you for the nice words on those on my post on the website yesterday.

I missed that particular detail as my eyes were just about blinded by the rest of the excellent “Camo” work in the rest of the picture.

Quite the image I must say. :lmao:

Lots of information to take in.
There’s certainly lots to take in. Just how much of it can actually qualify as information… That’s a whole other discussion.

If you’re aiming to join the fray, welcome aboard!
If you’re just lurking for the time being, then you might as well join up anyway, so again, Welcome.

Come on Doc what ever happened to surgery by candlelight? Dr. Quin Medicine WOMAN could do it, why cant you?

Yes, but that was back when anesthesia was "here, if it starts to hurt, bite down on this stick." Sometimes technological advances are a good thing.

Hey guys... I can't keep up with you all. :sad2:

I have a question....

If you had $100 to do something 'special' or different in Disney with your 20 and 17 year old sons while your wife and daughter went for the afternoon tea at the GF what would it be???

I'm trying to help someone out with a few ideas.
