I think that would be perfect. Big enough for us to spot if we are driving and see a fellow Dis Dad driving through our area.

My only comment might be to add our web address to it somewhere to increase the likelihood of someone checking out our page...membership...podcasts etc....

That's a great point. It might drive enough traffic that they join, buy something and the site would benefit.

Well... what kind of decal are we looking for? I was thinking a simple one with the logo and maybe the slogan underneath... like this:

Maybe about 3" or so?? Thoughts??

Personaly...I think I would like just the "white outline" type...to match my Mickey Ear Family... with member number...not really a fan of the slogan...though I like our Man Laws...and have eaten many a cheesball.

I know we have lurkers that are afraid that we are going to bite them if they say hello!! Everyone knows how mean we are! when I joined Stopher ate my lunch for a week.. And Emma's Dad still eats my dessert! It's like jail only fun!

The posts per thread counts that Carl does are probably the best count of our "active members". Based on that, I would think that there are no more than 40 at any one time, with people dropping out and only a few of the new members sticking around long. Hard to quantify "lurkers"...

Oh, and in jail, I think it might be easier to keep up with 10+ pages/day! Although personally I don't have experience in that area.

Weird... I have IE8 here at work, too. All sites are coming up fine for me. There is quite a bit of javascript on the page... I would recommend you update your java JRE and try again...

Instead of deleting all browser history you should only need to delete "Temporary Internet Files". You can keep your cookies and your saved passwords. If you do that, it should save your passwords for all your sites.

If you click on those site nave links down the left does the page that loads, load correctly or is the CSS messed up on them too?

I'm testing on XP SP3 #2 home version. Its the closest thing I have to your PC.

Reading the site help...says it has been optimized for IE8...and suggest the latest Adobe Flash and Quicktime.

The Flash won't download for me....the way our IT has the setting that I cannot modify...it blocks it as a pop-up...and I cannot find a place to do a "Save Target As..."

The latest version is 10.2...my system has 10.1.

Doubt that's it...but I find it weird that all other Disney sites work fine.

Hmmmm, Ill play around tonight at home and see if I can find a way to replicate it here. I wish I could have been more help. Any CSS or browser Guru's lurking on the board? If so now would be an awesome time for you to start posting.

Yeah, I always thought Man Laws and Beef Jerkey had a better ring to it.

Cheese balls are kinda old school. I have a hard time finding them nowadays - other than a 55-gallon drum of some off-brand. I loved those Planters Cheese Balls in those cardboard cans 'back in the day'.

I get that garbled junk every now and then at work. I think it could be a network issue. It usually only happens to me when we are stressing our bandwidth. Hit the refresh button a few times to see if it clears up.

If all else fails, put in a help ticket to have IT give you a newer, faster PC.
