Good job guys...I go away into the woods with Scouts for the weekend and you all add about 26 pages... nice!:thumbsup2. And the most talkative this time around is that crazy duck David! He's my bet for the next "close the thread" contest, which looks to be gearing up, what, tomorrow? Wednesday at the latest...

The next couple of days will be busy for me so I can see this thing blowing right by me. And Don is on vacation :lmao:

alright dad's, I'm back, asking for more prayers. As some of you guys know, I've been looking for work for some time now. Well, a former co-worker (from 12 years ago) contacted me today to set up an interview with his firm. Here's where this particular crowd comes into play, the job is in Orlando!!!!!

I have some experience with theme park architecture, but that was a long time ago when I worked on IOA, however, this firm deals mostly in health care facilities.

Either way, I'm interviewing Wednesday at 1:00pm, so some good thoughts my way would be appreciated.

Wonder if my family will get mad if I stop at DTD for lunch?

Best of Luck :thumbsup2

Tip: If there is a female interviewer, remember her name !!!!! :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Besides WHEN you get the job you could open the Orlando Dis Dad's welcome center. Dave has the east coast, we would almost be covered :lmao:

Good luck and our prayers are with you. In the interview when they ask you what your weaknesses are, tell them kryptonite and Lois Lane. :cheer2:

if I get this job, I will gladly take on that responsibility. I told DW that we will probably see our friends and family more often living in Orlando than anywhere else.

I mentioned last week the little woman, or kinda little, uhh little but big, I mean tall hmm that's not coming out right ! Anyway

She is teaching our 1 year old twins baby sign language ( she saw it on tv, or Oprah I think, and bought all the books). I am sure you have heard how that sometimes identical twins can develop their own twin talk, between them. Well, apparently our two have developed their own twin sign talk! They have been walking around the house little arms and hands flailling about trying to tell us things and we can't figure it out, but apparently the other one knows! ! It is very frustrating, it was bad enough that when they did the real signs I would have to go the my wife or one of the older kids to come interprit, but now they are the only two who understand each other ! ! !

I only know one sign; this is it:

:thumbsup2 <-------- Not a thumb :lmao:

I hated it when they all died in the end! What a stupid ending!!

oh beverly sorry should of read the whole post!! :scared1:

That one made me :lmao:

Bookmarked! That's a long haul from where I am, but I’ll see if I can pull it off.

Peanut Butter and Beverly just won’t cut it in terms of describing this particular Monday, but they’ll have to do. :headache: If I thought it’d make me feel better, I’d get falling down drunk, but I have to go back to work in the morning either way, so there’s really no sense in wasting that much good booze on something as utterly useless as my employer. Lord I’m glad to be home.

OK… Rant over. Thanks for your patience.

Looks like I missed a good bit around here today (imagine that).
However, this is really cool:

:cool1:

Steve Barrett put my Hubble Hidden Mickey on his site!!! :thumbsup2

Congratulations Nate! :thumbsup2

Oh and just in case y’all missed it, here’s my version of the “Not a Thumb” emotacon:

Good luck! I'd say an interview in Orlando definitely deserves a lunch at DTD!

Oh great, it would be my nemesis, wouldn't it?!?!:lmao:
Just in case you don't plan to go back, here are a couple of posts made to your attention over the course of the weekend.
Well it was MY NEMISIS who threw down the gauntlet...so who else should pick it up and smite him with it.

Attention Nemisis!!!

Please report to page 208...Please report to page 208.

Welcome Back. What's your favorite ride at BG?
So what does Mach Tower look like? It's not really themed in any of the drawings they show online? Have they started doing any work on the ride that's going to replace BBW?

Favorite BG ride is Apollos Chariot, but since mt son can't get on it, I'll go with the Bumper Cars:lmao: My son is starting to steer them really good, we chase Mommy all around:lmao:

They haven't done much with The Mach Tower, it was just round tubing right now, looking at the pics they have up it dosn't look like anything really great:confused3 Will not compare to TOT:scared1:

I liked the new Pretzel House next to Mach Tower, I was alittle set back seeing the Mach Tower is where the Srambbler was, but I was happy to see it later on (moved it to New France next to the Smokehouse:banana:)

Nothing is happening where BBW was:confused3

Shows - The Celtic Dance show is the same, The new show in Italy was really good it has the Drummers from the Halloween show:worship: and the waiters in the show are quite funny:lmao:, Octoberfest show has changed alittle bit adding a few things:cool1:

Food- They added a all you can eat Pizza & Pasta next to Roman Rapids:woohoo: It was very reasonable $9.99 Adults & $5.99 Kids

The Stable has a new edition, a baby Clydesdale, he was adorable:goodvibes

It is good to see that the new owners are dumping some cash into the parks (they also own half of Universial but are selling there share)IMO over the next couple of years they will build the Busch Properties up, like Disney they know what works:confused3

oXar: I just want to say: "Good Luck, we're all counting on you."
Oh and prayers / pixie dust paving the way on I-95 from West Palm to Orlando.
