Thanks. Still can't believe the kids haven't figured out what's going on. DD did ask why we picked out a "I heart Disney" for her to wear tomorrow though.

None of those - it's more of a dead battery situation. Cameras don't work when batteries are dead.

My DD spent the afternoon today going over our Owner's Lockers box inventories (we have two of them), and putting together a list of things she wants to do, or eat, or play on her birthday. It was very cute. 16 things - several definite YESes, and several MAYBES. Playing UNO was right up near the top of the list... never mind that she has UNO cards here as well.

And playing Checkers, too. And coloring. And drawing. All things she can do here, but for they're just extra special because those things are in our "Disney boxes".

That does hinder photographic efforts.

Darn teenagers. They hinder a lot of photographic efforts. They love to use our equipment, and then leave it there in a spent condition. DW gets very frustrated with them. We usually have to ensure they are fully charged before any special functions, but lose out on a lot of the more impromptu stuff.

My DD is also desperately wanting me to bake her a cake for her birthday in the villa. I told her we would do something, but not sure if it can be the one she wants. I'm going to do my darndest though. It's so cute. She wants an old family recipe cake that we all just love. It's a Norwegian cake that is light, airy and very yummy... but it takes bananas and whipped cream (the real stuff, not out of a can), and looking at the prices for the supplies from Garden Grocer - I might just be able to get a cake on-property cheaper. DW doesn't want to fork out a lot of cash, so she told DD that it'll probably just have to be a from the box kind of cake, which we can bring along in the suitcase, and have the special one when we get home again. Hmmmm.... don't want to disappoint either female in the house... oy.

Well another week, here we go. I need to get off to bed. My Monday will be very much like last Friday was... filled with meetings. Ugh. I get so much more done when not in meetings.

I saw some fun news today. A wonderful friend and his wife are expecting again. I love happy news.
