Hey now! I resemble that remark. However - just to be perfectly fair... I was not on the computer at all from Friday afternoon through Sunday afternoon, and then again not until late last night - and there were 10 new pages without any contribution from ME. :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl: There are lots of individuals who happen to contribute to this madhouse. I just happened to be going mostly solo last night, and had a little time to kill. So I did, while watching a dvd, :happytv: working on Summer Camp stuff, checking on my grandmother's status (not good - now she has an infection in her leg and my aunt & uncle are having to move her in to a Board and Care facility for more one on one care) and enjoying the pics over on the DDC FB page.

That would be 'jon', not me. :lmao:

I was going to say Loo in honor of our UK dads, or latrine since I was thinking about Summer Camp at the time... but john was the first thing that came to mind. :goodvibes

Oh well... a meeting beckons. Have a great day guys.... and I wonder how many pages will be added today? :confused3

Answering in the blind, because I've been to neither. I would say Wolfgang, because I've always heard Captain Jack's is just "there" because WDW needed a seafood restaurant.

We've been to both - WP once, CJ's 3 times. I'll say that CJ's was great the first time, okay the 2nd, and not very enjoyable the last time. We don't plan on returning to CJ's for a while if at all. I did enjoy the waterfront tables & view...

... although we have been there more than that. Back in the early '90s that was the home of Chef Mickey's. We ate there once on our honeymoon. It was quite nice then.

Of the two I enjoyed them both for different reasons. Though I like the Wolfgang Puck Express a bit better than the sit-down Cafe.

One thing we're thinking about too is the Kitchen Sink. We have not done that before... have any of you gotten it before? I've read lots about it before, and of course seen pics - so no need to post pics if you have them... just your opinion if you've done it. DW thinks it would be a great memorable aspect of the trip. DD thinks it sounds really cool, as does my middle DS. My eldest is quite the opposite, and doesn't want to participate... though I'm sure if it's actually in front of him he would enjoy it thoroughly too.
We did it 6 years ago - when DD was just a baby. She didn't help much with it, though. :confused3
There were 6 adults eating at that thing. It starts out awesome when everything is neatly placed and the ice cream in still nice and cold. After a little while of working at it, the ice cream starts to melt and the digging of the spoons starts to mix everything up. By the end, you've got a sloppy mess in the bottom of the bowl - which my BIL started slurping up with a straw. Would I do it again?
In a heartbeat!

The Super Moon was sure beautiful. Anyone else enjoy it?

Oh mannnnnnnnn!! I was getting so close to filling up a whole page by myself. Missed on the last one when I had to run to use the john

Please don't tell me these two posts are related....:scared1:

Good Grief it's hard to get caught up after being gone for a few days....

Welcome new Dads....:banana::banana::banana:

Man, I got sunburned last week/weekend...but had fun:cool1:

I got an egg to stand on end last night---freaked DW out, but Facebook was acting up and couldn't post the picture during the Blitz....Darn:guilty::lmao:

Ok wow, I haven't been on for a week, sorry about that.

I want to join. Had to get my ten post in before I could send request to join. This was number ten so off I go to send the PM.

Try being gone for a little over a week, my eyes started to glaze over at how much I missed.

Aww I am so sorry I missed this one, I am disappointed, I have an ostrich egg at home I would've tried it with... and don't ask why I have an ostrich egg... long story :-)

Not really. Just wasting some time. Having some fun. Filling some pages. Being silly. Doing nothing. Driving others nuts. Enjoying every second of it.

Just your typical man stuff, right? :lmao:

Is this a proposed new Man Law? :confused3 :rotfl2:

Sorry, dude. I don't think you can just leave it there!

Oh, I forgot to say this earlier: Welcome New Dads! :thumbsup2

The fantasy racing league got mixed up a bit at Bristol. The lead that Mater's Racers had over the field tightened up. Second place birdslightyear pulled within 39 points of first place after getting high score for the week with a very impressive 321 points! It is pretty obvious that Mater's Racers and birdslightyear are trying to run away with this thing early, as they have been extremely dominant over the first 4 races and are the only teams to get the high score for any race.

The weekly high score: Jeff Byrd 500 presented by Food City - birdslightyear - 321 points
  • Carl Edwards
  • Dale Earnhardt Jr.
  • Kasey Kahne
  • Bobby Labonte

As I've said before, it apparently pays to have Bobby Labonte in your lineup. The high score every week so far has included him. Next week is the 1.5 cookie cutter at California. Can anyone make up some ground on Mater's Racers and birdslightyear??? I know I'm quickly going the wrong direction.... :rolleyes1

By the power vested in me by myself, I now pronounce you Nemesis and Nemesis. You may now hate each other until the end of time. :thumbsup2

:thumbsup2 Page one updated. It's official now!

DisDads Podcast V.2 has been produced and has been edited by my Brother In Law. The intro.....oh the intro!! He broke out the guitar and bass for a......Im not going to spoil it. As soon as it gets the :thumbsup2 from the boss then it well be posted. If you want the intro for your ring tone we just happened to make an mp3 of just that!

Sweet! Can't wait to check it out when I get home.

Let's put a picture of Don's colon on Dis Dad version 8. :lmao::thumbsup2

Oh peanut butter....

I agree with you. We're working on it. It's a function of the way the recording software works. My voice is recorded to one channel, and all of the other voices are on another channel. So their levels all get normalized to some extent, and mine are different. I'll increase my input volume (again) for the next one.

I use Audacity to edit the sound files for our weekly recordings for church. Has a very nice Amplify function that allows you to increase gain for just the sections of the recording that need it. Plus... it's free :)

My Busch Garden trip for April is on the fence, seems Yo Gabba Gabba has canceled:confused3 (I think he was scared that I was going to grab his hat:lmao:, I'll get it yet:lmao:) As of now I'm keeping the Hotel ressie's, could always use a couple days away:confused3:goodvibes

HAHA! He's running scared! :scared1: Well, hope you still get to enjoy the park that weekend. Found out DD has her soccer game at 8:00am on the 16th... so it looks like I'll be good to go that day! :woohoo:

The Super Moon was sure beautiful. Anyone else enjoy it?

Oh yeah:thumbsup2 Reminded me of Moonstruck... "All right now. Howl! Howl!"

Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach? Which would you choose? And why?

Tough call. Did BB once before DD was born... very much loved it. TL was fun, too. I like the theming at BB better. My vote goes to BB :thumbsup2

Coke or Pepsi? Which is your choice?

Call me weird, but my choice has changed over the years. I grew up with my dad drinking Pepsi like it was water. Back then they still had the glass bottles that we would collect and take back to the store for credit. The kids were not allowed to drink it except on special occasions. So... grew up drinking Pepsi... but never been a big soda drinker anyway.
BUT.... after we started going back to Disney World, my choice shifted. I suppose drinking nothing but Coke for a week will do that to you! I can still go either way, but right now my preference would be... Coke.

:woohoo: Sounds like a good weekend of competition! And only 2 more to go?!? :cool1:
Snow? Really? Sheesh. I just mowed the grass yesterday! :lmao:
