LOL! Dave, I felt the same way earlier.
Only 5 more days to the Busch Gardens, Williamsburg, Pass Member Preview day!! It's not Disney, but I'm having theme park withdrawals and this will do.

I know this feeling.
I stumbled across the early-purchase Season Pass discount at Worlds of Fun/Oceans of Fun over the weekend. You actually save money going just twice all season. I was all set to buy Season Passes today -- but the sounds that the MacBook was making late last night/this morning tell me I may have to buy a new laptop instead.![]()
Did you ever go into a bar and sing a duet of "You've lost that loving feeling?"
Just wanted to give a quick update...My family is all fine and accounted for![]()
I would post a trip report, but I wouldn't want tutter's head to explode![]()
If they are sounds, most likely just a fan. Unless it's a crunchy kind of sound... those aren't good.![]()
Yeah... the season passes are awesome if you actually use them. Unfortunately, though, I find that we spend even more money when we eat there. Get too lazy to leave the park!![]()
Great to hear
Har Dee Har Har.
Took DS out on the weekend, invited ourselves to a new development that has a "stocked" fishing pond for the members (Thanks Google Maps and Street view!). You know its not going to end well when you hand your son the cup of worms to hang onto, and he immediately sets them on the dock and they blow into the water
So I figured I would throw a trick worm on for him and just let him play around for a while. 5 minutes later I look over and there is a 6 or 7 inch bream floating on it's side. As the wind blows it towards DS's line he just keeps whispering "little closer.....little closer......OK.....BITE IT!"
Have a good trip; I upgraded my phone, send all the pics you want! The week I'm gonna have, any break from reality is welcomed.
Don't to forget to pack a set of dry clothes!:![]()
Well, that's kind of the point.
Until last night, there was a sound that was definitely just a fan. Then, last night, a new sound was added to the mix, which I'm pretty sure is the hard drive. So I texted Mrs. AJRitz as I was leaving the house this morning (she was still asleep) telling her not to use the laptop at all today.
I'm adept at swapping out MacBook hard drives, and the fan fix shouldn't be too expensive. BUT, it's a three-year-old laptop with a missing key and cracks in the case. It's hard to justify throwing a few hundred dollars at helping it continue to limp along, considering at a minimum the repair costs would be 25% of the cost of a replacement.
I'm now monitoring a situation that might canx the trip though....oh well, have to pay the bills![]()
Philly Zoo is the placePost #56, Carl has a poll set up for everyone to vote on Month & Sat or Sun.
Anyone who is going be sure to vote, I know he wants to get started on it![]()
You need a friend like me a little closer to homeRepair is much cheaper
Those Macs are $$$$$
OK, Don, since you started it.........this is me and a couple Navy buddies on a one-day excursion to Disneyland in 1971. We were stationed in San Diego for RM "A" School at the time. I'm not the one with the hat! One of us asked Goofy how much he got paid and he actually responded....."Not enough!"
Hmmm - laptop hard drive prices have come down substantially since the last time I checked.
Peanut Butter!
This is just making the decision-making process that much more difficult.![]()
