Oh great... Dave's back... I better get the new thread ready soon... :lmao::lmao::rotfl2::rotfl2:

if you noticed, its not me anymore.:lmao: im just trying to get to 4k now.:lmao:

LOL! Dave, I felt the same way earlier. :lmao:

Only 5 more days to the Busch Gardens, Williamsburg, Pass Member Preview day!! It's not Disney, but I'm having theme park withdrawals and this will do.

I know this feeling.
I stumbled across the early-purchase Season Pass discount at Worlds of Fun/Oceans of Fun over the weekend. You actually save money going just twice all season. I was all set to buy Season Passes today -- but the sounds that the MacBook was making late last night/this morning tell me I may have to buy a new laptop instead. :(

If they are sounds, most likely just a fan. Unless it's a crunchy kind of sound... those aren't good. :sad1:

Yeah... the season passes are awesome if you actually use them. Unfortunately, though, I find that we spend even more money when we eat there. Get too lazy to leave the park! :rolleyes1

Just wanted to give a quick update...My family is all fine and accounted for :cool1:

Great to hear:thumbsup2

I would post a trip report, but I wouldn't want tutter's head to explode:lmao::lmao:

Har Dee Har Har.:headache:

Took DS out on the weekend, invited ourselves to a new development that has a "stocked" fishing pond for the members (Thanks Google Maps and Street view!). You know its not going to end well when you hand your son the cup of worms to hang onto, and he immediately sets them on the dock and they blow into the water:sad1:

So I figured I would throw a trick worm on for him and just let him play around for a while. 5 minutes later I look over and there is a 6 or 7 inch bream floating on it's side. As the wind blows it towards DS's line he just keeps whispering "little closer.....little closer......OK.....BITE IT!":rotfl2:

Have a good trip; I upgraded my phone, send all the pics you want! The week I'm gonna have, any break from reality is welcomed.

Don't to forget to pack a set of dry clothes!::laundy:

Well, that's kind of the point.
Until last night, there was a sound that was definitely just a fan. Then, last night, a new sound was added to the mix, which I'm pretty sure is the hard drive. So I texted Mrs. AJRitz as I was leaving the house this morning (she was still asleep) telling her not to use the laptop at all today.

I'm adept at swapping out MacBook hard drives, and the fan fix shouldn't be too expensive. BUT, it's a three-year-old laptop with a missing key and cracks in the case. It's hard to justify throwing a few hundred dollars at helping it continue to limp along, considering at a minimum the repair costs would be 25% of the cost of a replacement.

I meant to post this earlier, but I forgot it...

I finally got a chance to download the first podcast yesterday. I just want to say that I really enjoyed it. The show is well put together and has a very polished and professional sound to it. Aaron, you did an excellent job as moderator and really kept the flow of the discussion going and on track. For a first time effort, I don't think we could expect anything better. :thumbsup2

Woohoo! I got a page!

Been there done that...to be honest, with G, I usually take the Uncle Josh "fake/live" crickets...the blue gill bite those things like they're going out of style---of course, I still buy a bucket of crickets for him to play with, but since, usually, when I have him we're not fishing for "catch and DeGrease" (:lmao:) I don't impale the crickets---they are issued and official pardon later.:rotfl2:

I'm now monitoring a situation that might canx the trip though....oh well, have to pay the bills:confused3

Oh, and hard de har har right back:lmao::lmao:

That blows:mad: We both rely on uneducated nutjobs for continued employment, but at least mine don't have guns:surfweb:

Maybe the world will get it's S#^T together in the next few months and you can make it up to Lake Jordan.

Philly Zoo is the place:cool1: Post #56, Carl has a poll set up for everyone to vote on Month & Sat or Sun.

Anyone who is going be sure to vote, I know he wants to get started on it:goodvibes

OK! I voted a while back but thought I might have missed the actual date. :thumbsup2

Just had to share this picture with you guys. Me... just out of Navy boot camp, 1991... at Magic Kingdom. If you look real close, you can make out a bucket or two from the old Skyway ride.

OK, Don, since you started it.........this is me and a couple Navy buddies on a one-day excursion to Disneyland in 1971. We were stationed in San Diego for RM "A" School at the time. I'm not the one with the hat! One of us asked Goofy how much he got paid and he actually responded....."Not enough!"

Hmmm - laptop hard drive prices have come down substantially since the last time I checked.

Peanut Butter!

This is just making the decision-making process that much more difficult.

:teacher: Who needs a laptop anyway? :rotfl2:

Oh great! I just checked the status of my T-shirt and got the following:
UPS handed it over to the USPS and they immediately missent it somewhere in NJ and a delay is expected. Since when do these two outfits work together to screw things up?! :confused3
