Happy New Years Dads!
Oh, and go Wildcats!

So a rude awakening this morning, Mary (or 7 yo) woke us up at 5:40 with the declaration "Mom, Dad, I puked". Hopefully 2011 gets better soon.

Wow. Great way to start the new year off. Hope she gets to feeling better.

Hope that everyone has a great day and doesn't have a headache this morning :confused3

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

I hope to make the PA/NJ DIS Dads' Meet!

I'm in for a PA/NJ Dis Dads meet, keep me up to date.

I know it isn't really Disney themed, but since all the DisDads seem to be of age, we should try to meet at the Sands Casino in Bethlehem...

What do you guys think?

I was watching wishes fireworks and it make me tear up ever time...I was wondering if it makes anyone else shred one to

For the PA/NJ and don't forget DE, Maybe a day at the Philly Zoo, (Easter Break):confused3, That should be pretty much a central location:confused3

I was listening to a DIS Unplugged podcast from September and they mentioned this thread, so I had to check it out. I first visted WDW in 2000 and have been going almost annually since. My wife (rchristiansen), daughter, and I are signed up for the ABD Backstage Magic 4/17 - 4/22/11.

Thanks,
Jeff

:welcome: to the DisBoards and to the Dis Dad's club Jeff! Emma's Dad should be around to assign you a number soon enough.

So what is the ABD Backstage Magic?

:dancer::welcome::dancer: To The Dis Dads Jeff

Thanks for the warm welcome.

ABD Backstage Magic is Adventures by Disney Backstage Magic trip to California, which includes a meet and greet lunch with Marty Sklar. Other highlights include special access at Disney Imagineering, tour of the Jim Henson Company Studios, behind the scenes at Disneyland Park, backstage at Jimmy Kimmel Live, and El Capitan Theatre tour. There's a thread about it on the DIS Adventures by Disney Trips board.

We've never done a ABD before, but are really excited about it.

I'm not a supporter of gambling and the Sands is expensive so I would prefer the zoo. Or, maybe an IronPigs game.

Welcome, Jeff!

Welcome to the madness. I listen to the podcast as well and wish we could do the ABD trip. You will have to do a TR for us all, after you get back.:thumbsup2

Completely understandableabout the Sands. I was just thinking about centrally located. I am defintiely in for a Pigs game also. My kids love going to CCP.

:welcome: Glad you found us. In case you haven't read through the previous 5 1/2 threads a couple of items to note:

1) Topics of discussion: We have none. If we ever maintain discussion on one subject for more than 1.5 pages the world will stop. We must keep randomly discussing stuff for the safety of others. Oh and we have not attention span.

2) We are all crazy.

3) Ok, not all of us are crazy, but I will admit that I am.

Thanks for the warm welcome.

This sounds very cool. I can't wait to hear all about it.

So, you're a Kentucky Wildcats fan. Good to know there is some intelligence in IL.

Ummm no. That would be the Northwestern Wildcats (hence the purple)
On that note, I have to express my disappointment with the Big 10 this year. We went 0-5 yesterday, (although secretly I was enjoying the Wisconsin loss... sorry Barry)

I just hope that the Big 10 (future Big 11.5) can improve as a whole. There were a lot of mediocre teams this year.
