I have a few ?'s about the bouceback program, that someome might know about

- are they currently doing it
- what kind of time frame qalifies
- since DDP is free till Oct are they offering other incentives
- where do you go to do this:confused3

I was on the phone with disney a few weeks ago and asked them about the bounce back offer.. because there was no card in my room when i stayed..and my neighbor just returned from there a week after and said she had one.. the guy told me they where doing away with it, but you can call and ask what discounts do you have for the week you want to stay...so I hope this helped a little since I kinda don;t much my wife does most of the booking stuff:rolleyes1

When they do offer bounceback offers Ron, (which is most of the time since they do want to hook you into coming back), you'll know pretty much when you walk in the room, or within a couple of days of your arrival the info will show up in your room via mousekeeping.

Typically there will be a flyer or other kind of literature that details out the return offer, and the dates that it applies to. Often it will be a variety of date blocks throughout the next year (i.e. parts of winter, parts of spring, parts of summer and parts of fall), and yes, sometimes that will include the Free Dining period - but not necessarily the FD offer. (Remember, even though they have had great success in "getting the heads in the beds" with that offer for the past 7 years, does not guarantee that it will return the following year).

Typically the bb offer is advertised as a % off deal, not necessarily a FD deal, though I have seen it both ways.

In order to utilize the BB offers, you must make your reservation either from your resort room phone via the number listed on the flyer, or take the flyer to the front desk and make it with them. The $200 deposit (or whatever it currently is at that time) must be paid right then. No matter what though, you need to make the reservation prior to departure as it is no longer valid after you check-out.

Just as a point of reference, the BB offer in our room at the Poly was a Free Dining offer that was no better than the existing public offer. I've seen elsewhere that this appears to have become the most common BB offer. I had really been hoping for one of the rumored 40% off super codes (good for any resort category), as that was pretty much my only chance for a 2011 trip, but no such luck.

Thanks Guys, I guess the best bet would be, if they offer it, know what the price would be without the bounceback with current offers and compare to what they offer:thumbsup2

Doh! Guess we will be shaving off a few days for next years anniversary trip. I got spoiled by 40 percent off a CR package.

Just wondering Dave, but why not use your points instead of cash and go BLT with the same view?

its dd grad. present. she wants to stay in the a frame. shes been looking at it her entire life and always wanted to stay there.(dont have to twist my arm.:lmao:) i asked her what she wanted for a grad present and that is what she wanted. shes a good kid, works hard, never gave us any problems. good student, part time job and dances three days a week.she bought a new car in april and almost has it paid off. she dont get much handed to her, she earns just about everything she has.most kids now days would want a huge kid party or go to the islands with the friends etc... but shes not like that. it works out good for our "point plan". dw and i want to go twice a year with a 7 night stay in january,(escape the northeast weather) and our 10-11 stay in september, october range. i cant believe shes a sr. and turning 18 already.

My daughter was the same way with the Poly, now she has changed to Aulani. I don't know which is going to be worse on my pocketbook. I can use my points for Aulani but the airfare is out of this world. I'm the same though in the fact that she is a good kid and does everything we ask so I'm going to do what I can to make it happen for her.

Well that makes sense...I was just wondering.

Can I ask a stupid question, as the Jewish guy who doesn't celebrate Christmas and really doesn't understand the whole Santa thing (and please understand, I really am not trying to be perjorative here at all)?

Why is it "better" for kids to believe that they get Christmas presents from a red-costumed home invader who spies on them all year than to believe that they get generous Christmas presents from their parents, family and friends who know them and love them and want to do special things for them? :confused3

Great Observation.
I am actually regretting the whole thing. I have tried never to lie to my children, and when they figure it all out, how can they see this as anything but a lie.

I'm just wondering....

Did you feel your parents were liars when you found out that Santa wasn't real? Being the older brother, I remember when my siblings finally figured out that Santa wasn't real. There was no revolt in my house accusing of my parents of being liars. I'm not sure if you read through some of the responses to this question, but I think there has been some great answers. When your child(ren) comes to you and says 'Daddy I know there isn't a Santa Claus' you can look them straight in the eye and say 'You are right and you are wrong.' IS there a guy in a red suit that comes down our chimney? Not really. BUT the spirit of Christmas- the celebration of Jesus' birth and the unselfish giving is REAL.

You can explain to them how Santa Claus came to be Santa Claus. http://www.northpolesantaclaus.com/santahistory.htm

Oh yea... don't forget to tell them that it is a secret! :ssst:;):santa:

my dw wont fly. which is no problem for me, i love to drive. we turn on the serius, put it on the 70s and yak all the way down and all the way home.:lmao: dd sleeps in the back the entire time, other than for food and pee stops. this year, i have to pull over before we get to wdw property and let dd drive in.:lmao: she said this will probley be her last dvc trip for awhile and want to drive in. :lmao: just leave the mirrors on the van!!:lmao: after this trip she will only be able to get her summers off and she also likes going to cape may with her grand parents and a few of her friends. they have been going the past few years and the girls sit around with grand parents and play games etc... they have a blast. :lmao: i never seen teenage girls have so much fun with people in there early 70s!!:lmao: the girls say there cool!!!:lmao: thats because my inlaws stay up till 3am and wake up at 10am when there at the shore.:lmao:

Um, what happened to my Dallas Cowboys? They are actually winning a game against a division rival! I know it doesn't all boil down to the coaching change... or does it?
Apparently, the Cowboys play this week has upset the balance of football nature and caused the power transformer to blow up at the New Meadowlands.
:rotfl:

As a Giants fan, I think it does come down to coaching for them. This week, many of the G-Men seemed concerned that the Cows were going to
"wake up" with the new coaching staff. Looks like that has happened! This doesn't bode well for the Giants next week vs the Eagles.

Not lie to your children, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!:rotfl2:
