I can understand that. I think a lot of times the refs are just seeing the end result of the play--and like you said, it's hard to make the call in realtime. Most guys, when you see someone lying motionless on the ground, will figure it was a vicious, dirty hit.
I see that to.... but the flag was thrown way after the hit and they could not even explain what the call was in the first place ROUGHING THE PASSER WITH OUT THE CONTROL OF THE BALL...OOOK...I think that was the finale call don't quote me on it....and I love the hand to the helmet call....I am going to throw it at Manning for standing there to long..they forgot to see some of the action when they threw Vick on the ground out of bounds or some of the holding calls.. I think they should putt some flags on and see that is the new and improve safe NFL...sorry a little ranting
