Nice! You can ride it and describe how it feels to them, and then it'll be just like they rode it.

Nope. The deal was that if they can't ride, neither will we. We'll go on another cruise when everyone is tall enough.

Now, if they were spending time in the supervised kids area, inside the ship where they can't see anything happening up on deck, and I just happen to be walking and slip on a puddle of water, and just happen to fall into the AquaDuck, i guess I would have to take it all the way to the end. Because it would probably be against safety regulations to climb back out of it at the start. And I don't want to break any safety regulations.

My wife asked for one of those a couple of years ago for Christmas. I think she was serious, but that wasn't a gamble I was willing to take.:rotfl2:

Yeah, that's dangerous ground right there. :rotfl2:

Has anyone who visits Youtube, ever seen any of the Chad Vader :darth: Day Shift Manager, I saw it a couple of years ago, there were only 4parts then, I checked it out last night and it's into season 3:confused3

:confused3 I got major brownie points for the refridgerator I got Mrs. AJRitz for Valentine's Day.

She's really gotten into cake decorating as a hobby, and I'd overheard her grumbling under her breath a couple of weeks earlier, getting frustrated trying to fit multiple colors of homemade fondant and buttercream icing into the fridge with all of the regular stuff in there.

So I bought her a stainless steel counter-height fridge to put in the basement to store her cake decorating stuff.

She even told me that I was welcome to keep beer in there, if there was room. (It's in the basement storage area, just adjacent to the Media Room).

A true Goddess among mortal women. :worship::worship::worship:

After we found out that the 48" was the absolute minimum height - even riding with an adult - we seriously considered canceling the cruise. But we talked to both kids (either of whom will be tall enough to ride) and explained that they won't be tall enough to ride. They were both OK with it and looking forward to everything else that is available to them on the boat, so the cruise is still on!

Excellent decision! I suspect that they will still have an awesome time! Loved the pirate league pics on your TR, too!

Someone has to be the fly on the wall, that's me.:thumbsup2 Actually we going to Disneyland for our 34th anniversary. DW gave me the trip for Christmas. And Dave, it's Randall not Ray, but for you that's pretty close.

Mike, I was thinking you have a dog and were going to get another one, but it was taking you forever to get it. :rotfl2:

sorry about that. have a good day.:thumbsup2

The Bad News: The island my retirement home is on is about to be overrun by people fleeing a maniacal dictator.

The Good News: At least everyone I work with knows where Malta is now.

I wish I could hop on the whole "The world will be a better place once they overthrow these guys" bandwagon. Unfortunately option B in most of these countries isn't much better than Option A was.

As Admiral Akbar would say, "It's a trap!"

:darth:
That's exactly what I thought. Kind of sad though when I can remember what I didn't get her, but can't remember what I actually did get for her.:confused3

Hmmm looks interesting! But what does he do with the snow when he gets to the end of his driveway?? :rotfl2:
I guess his theory is as long as he gets his driveway clear, it isn't his problem anymore. There's a wall of snow in the street, you can go over it or you can go around it.:lmao:

You're not retiring to Disney?! :scared1: We'll miss you, but will be sure to post frequent updates on The DIS Dad's Club MCXIII page.

Agree. Instability is always bad... Wish we could just pack up and forget about that whole area...

From personal experience, I totally agree.....;););)

Wasn't jumping on that bandwagon at all...the situation is FAR too complicated than that...
