About to run to a meeting, but wanted to post that I was listening to the DIS Unplugged while eating my lunch, and heard them read Barry's Email about the AquaDuck. Sorry they didn't give you the answer you wanted to hear Barry. :(

You know, I keep thinking that I need to download those podcasts and listen to them... maybe one of these days I'll actually do it.:rolleyes1

RAY!!!were have you been hidding? i see your heading down in a month or so.:thumbsup2

Someone has to be the fly on the wall, that's me.:thumbsup2 Actually we going to Disneyland for our 34th anniversary. DW gave me the trip for Christmas. And Dave, it's Randall not Ray, but for you that's pretty close.

Mike, I was thinking you have a dog and were going to get another one, but it was taking you forever to get it. :rotfl2:

So, I got a call at work from the baby sitter. DD (5 months) had RSV last week, (it's Respitory (something) Virus) and was fine all day Monday when I was off of work. Today, at 11, she ate, waited 20 minutes, and threw up the bottle. Gross. Now, there are other babies at the sitter, so I had to get baby girl & bring her home so none of the other babies got sick. This sucks b/c I had to burn 4 PTO hours, when it was most likely just from over-eating, which she tends to do.
I got the laundry folded, so, it wasn't TOTALLY wasted, right?

Still looking for a cheap electric guitar, and still debating writing a trip report. I'd have it started if my flickr pictures would post correctly.

She's feeling better, so that's the most important thing.

Hope you have a better day tomorrow. Have you checked the pawn shops, they're normally full of guitars.

Those look great! We started our trip with Ohana dinner too - it was a perfect way to get the fun rolling.

Thanks guys!

:thumbsup2 Good catch! My son placed the dishes around. I told him to be subtle if he did anything Disney related. The "most" on the Disney front was supposed to the be Wilderness Lodge interjections... but of course, that just isn't always possible coming from me. My DW even turned to me after the party and said that she kept expecting the deer heads to come to life and start talking to her like in the Country Bear Jamboree!

You guys really did a great job! I for one am not that creative.. So the lurker(my wife) wanted to know why I haven't done something like this for her.:headache: it's alright she liked the toenail clippers I bought her for her 30th. For her 40th I am going all out! I will get her nose trimmer and a corncob backscratcher..:rotfl2:

I want to thank all of you that subbed on my daughters sweet 16 PTR. You guys make her feel special. Thanks again!!!:grouphug:

By the way, Mijo, they were hauling in a Blue Angels F 18 Fueselage into NAS JAX this morning.:thumbsup2

Fed ~ Our son called last night and I mentioned it to him. He said this jet was being used for training this past Fall and was then retired. It will either be placed in a museum in JAX or will go somewhere near the main gate. The jet was used for security patrols over Washington, DC, following the 9/11 attacks, so it has some special history behind it. That's what he was told, anyway.

:woohoo: I listened on the way home last night. I was actually a bit surprised that Walter got the pronunciation of my last name right (most people use a long "o" sound, which drives me crazy). He butchered my screen name, however :headache::rotfl2:
After we found out that the 48" was the absolute minimum height - even riding with an adult - we seriously considered canceling the cruise. But we talked to both kids (either of whom will be tall enough to ride) and explained that they won't be tall enough to ride. They were both OK with it and looking forward to everything else that is available to them on the boat, so the cruise is still on!

It never fails to amaze me how the things we stress out about as parents end up being "non events" for the kids.

No vacuum cleaner? :confused3

Hey that's better than a corncob nose scratcher and a back trimmer!

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

Nice! You can ride it and describe how it feels to them, and then it'll be just like they rode it.

They do a lot of F 18 overhaul/refurbishment here....there's a Static Blue Angel jet at the Yorktown entrance, and there's a "history of Naval aviation" display just inside the gate, so it makes sense....

I saw it sitting on the stands in a hangar this morning....felt a little sorry for it:confused3
