What in the world is a Beyblade and what does it do?? Obviously by the look on the faces it is near and ear to them . Totally in the dark as to what it is.

Since I have girls, I have no idea what a Beyblade is, but apparently it is used for demolition.

It is basicly a top that you pull a string to release, they are very fast, and of course if you have a metal one it's going to do damage,, they should be ashamed of themselves to do that to there kids, bet they bought them for them

So… How are y’all celebrating on this “most American” of all unofficial holidays: Supper Bowl Sunday! Honestly, we’re under-whelmed. We’ve got no dog in the fight (so to speak) and even the Half-Time entertainment choice leaves me rather flat. Well, hopefully it will be a good game at least, and I hope who ever you’re hollering for does well today. Now, pass the pizza bring me a beer.

The numbers for the Superbowl square pool that I'm in have been chosen. I don't think I have a shot this year. It is $250 a square but you get numbers for each Monday night game (half & final scores), the NFC & AFC championship games (all 4 quarters), and the Superbowl (4 quarters, reversed numbers, touching squares) Here are my numbers:

1Q S-8 P-9
H S-8 P-8
3Q S-5 P-3
F S-7 P-8

I guess the final score is my best bet. I'll take that though since the payout is 10K! Come on 28-17 Pack!!!!!!!!!

If I win, I'll be shouting 'I'm going to DISNEYWORLD!!!!!'

Now that’s something worth getting excited about. Unless someone has a more compelling argument, I’ll just have to pull for a 28-17 Packers win as well.

Thanks fellas. I was close but it wasn't looking so great with so much time on the clock in the 4th. I actually had the numbers I needed for a while.


Brian- I would of taken the 3rd quarter payout. It was $5000.

Here were the payouts:
1Q $1000
H $2500
3Q $5000
F $10,000
Reversed numbers $100
Touching square $50

I came up empty this year. Oh well, it does make the game much more exciting.

What a great game last night. It was definitely worth watching, other than Aguilera blowing the NATIONAL ANTHEM, the halftime sound guy killing what could have been a decent performance, and watching the game with a bunch of letdown Steeler fans...

But now that football is over, is time for the Cup playoffs to start picking up again, and hopefully the Aves will make a run into the playoffs with the resigning of Peter Forsberg, and it is only 6 DAYS until the Phillies ACES and catchers report to Clearwater for Spring Training!

I didn't win enough in Super Bowl pools to pay off our 10yr Disniversary trip, but I did win enough for the deposit, so guess what we are doing tonight!!!! I cant wait. OKW, here we come!

It's official - the Black Eyed Peas bombed the half-time show. I'd say that it was the worst one that I've ever seen - as a whole it just seemed sophomoric. I did dig the Tron theme on the outfits, but as a whole, it sucked.

Unless you're a Black Eyed Peas fan, then I assume it was epic for you?

Either way, I'm glad to see the underdogs won. As a fan of cheese, this is not just a win for Wisconsin, but America.

I think they should go with a David Copperfield or Chris Angel Magic show...or maybe a Cirque du Solei type show... or BEVERLY a marching band would be better than the PEANUT BUTTER they've put on stage since Michael Jackson showed up in 1993.

Looking thru the list on Wikipedia...see Disney Produced about 7 different shows thru the years...last one being in 2000 with Phil Collins.
