After my performance last year, I am most definitely "Out":lmao::lmao:

I suck at many things, Fantasy Sports happens to be one of them....:rotfl2::rotfl2:

The plaid vests are definately guides.

I did one tour in the MK (the Family Magic Tour) a few trips back and we got one of those plaid jacketed guides with what looks like the jockey helmet. On this tour we did get to skip the lines for Peter Pan but that was it. It was really a scavenger hunt, not a VIP tour.

I saw your other post and had some suggestions as to meals for your son's b-day.

I'm not sure if it's offered in December, but Mickey's Backyard BBQ was my sons favorite thing that we did on our last trip for his 5th b-day. It was pricey, but the price includes entertainment, character interaction (Mickey and Minnie, Goofy, Chip, Dale, etc. dancing with the kids), food, beer & wine, mickey bars and tip. It isn't short either (its at least 2 hours or more). Factoring in all that (and all you can drink beer :thumbsup2) I had no issues with the price. We're doing it again on our next trip in August.

Other ideas that previous posters have noted are Chef Mickey's and T-Rex. We're doing T-Rex in August for the 1st time (just me and my son are going on this trip) but a friend of mine went a few months back and her 5yo and he loved it.

My final idea isn't a dinner, but an event for your son. I sent my son on the Albatros Pirate Cruise at the Yacht & Beach Club. It's a 2 hour treasure hunt (kids only with wdw guides), and he loved it. They offer the Pirate Cruises out of GF, YBC, POR and CBR.

For more info on this, check out this link http://www.wdwinfo.com/just_for_kids/piratecruise.htm

we did keys to the kingdom in oct and we had the plaid skirt lady. she took us on jungle cruise and the mansion but at jungle cruise we got on a boat before it neared the boat dock were eveyone loads, got some finger points but that was it and at the mansion we went in a back entrance and they took us to the doom buggies before any of the stretching room doors opened so nobody knew were we came from. that is a great tour if anyone has the time to do it. you must be older than 16 and they check id!!! we are doing it again in december we liked it so much. alot of history and things i vowed not to talk about in public.:lmao: "what goes on behind the scenes, stays behind the scenes". including the utilidors!!!!:thumbsup2

ok Dads...I am trying to make reservations for some of our special meals during the december trip...I made reservations for Sunday 11/28 at Crystal Palace going to celebrate Laurens birthday there...the princess meals were just too expensive I thought...anyway...what to do for Ethans birthday meal? Also, thinking of not doing whipering canyon this year...is there anywhere else that is fun like that? or any other suggestions for that meal where we will do MY birthday LOL. We usually do the same things over and over and I am trying to mix it up a bit...

OH yeah...I convinced Shari to fly in on Saturday 11/27 so we get an extra day now!!!

I would definately do T-Rex. DS is in complete awe every time we go. In April one of my technicians was down at the same time so I told him we would meet for diner there. I made one mistake, huge restaurant full of screaming dinosaurs is the coolest thing for my 4yo son, huge restaurant full of screaming dinosaurs is the most terrifying thing on earth to his 2yo girl:scared1:

Is anyone going to go see the A-Team movie:confused3. I kind of have mixed feelings about it since I grew up with this show. I don't know how the new cast will be after being so used to the old ones. IMO this will be a hard pull off, but I'll probably go see it anyway.

I was going to wait for it on video but then I was talking with my Uncle and found out his son (my cousin) did some of the digital effects on it and the new Tom Cruise one, Knight and Day. He graduated from this digital media program that has gotten quite a reputation for their work. About half the kids in the graduating class two years before him got offered jobs at Pixar.

Cool...already got 8 interested. :thumbsup2

I think I had about 6 the last time...self included.

2-4 more and we have a league. :cool1:

My Team Name- :donald: The Mighty DUCKS :donald:

Count me in, my team, The Moose

We'll let you know when we get the bugs worked out of the DisDads Fantasy Bass Fishing League.

OK, Yahoo won't let me set up the Disney Dad's Club Fantasy Football League until June 3rd. I will try to set it up tomorrow, or over the weekend. I do have to get some work done today. ;)

Please PM me with your E-Mail address so you can be invited. You can then assign your team names after you join. We will use standard Yahoo rules, unless someone objects. The draft will be online and we will figure out when as we get a little closer to the season. Hopefully we'll have 12 teams, but I will post solicitations asking for more people should we need them.

Should be fun and, as always, smack talk is welcome.

Now I will leave you with the cleaned-up punchline of my favorite Disney joke:

"MICKEY: I didn't say she was crazy, I said she was ------- Goofy!"

Chris (ClearScreen)

Also, I'm debating between two team names, "The WEDWay People Movers" or "Kungaloosh". Leaning towards "Kungaloosh" at the moment.

As you can probably tell from my avatar, I am following the Cup Finals.

Never thought I see such a scoring difference and find them interesting games. The series is definitely physical and I am looking forward to game 3, and I am glad to see good play and the refs stay out of it.

Is anyone going to go see the A-Team movie:

Last movie was Princess and the Frog - they are all animated until children are older.

I think there's a Wide Receiver named that. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

And with the 1st pick in the 2011 NFL draft, the Oakland Raiders select Passamaquoddy Dragons...

I'm in on the Fantasy Football. I'm not any good, but if it costs no money, then I can afford that. For a team name, it will have to be something that ends in COWBOYS!!!

How did we ever survive when we simply punched a time card saying we worked 8 hours a day?
i swiped my nametag at the local grocery store for a timesheet. my second job we just wrote our hours in the book. when you only have 12 total employees, and one is the owner, it's easier to be trusting of when people work.

Do you a TPS report cover sheet on it or not?
This will ALWAYS make me laugh.

Nice!

True story - I actually had someone in another forum where I have this same signature(a fantasy football forum) chastise me for being so arrogant and insulting to these great minds of history. Before I could respond, another poster informed him that I was making a joke/movie reference.

.

A battle of wits? To the Death? I accept.

Fantasy football? I got kicked out of my last league for not paying attention week to week. But, i'm the only one that paid the entry fee, so I'm back in this year. This fall, I'll have a newborn daughter and 3 older sons, so methinks 2 fantasy football leagues are a bad idea.

Nice Princess Bride reference ;)
really, is there a bad Princess Bride reference?:confused3

The Disney Dads Club Fantasy Football League is now up and running. So far, we have 7 members. We'd like to have 12. If you are interested, please send me a private message with your E-Mail address so I can officially invite you to join. It is being run through Yahoo. It is free.

The on-line draft will take place at a time to be agreed upon. Right now, it is 9/2/10 at 8:00pm EDT.

I have chosen a head-to-head scoring format with some minor rule modifications based upon suggestions and past experiences.

Finally, besides having fun, the only requirement is you must choose a Disney-themed name for your team. For example, my team is called the WEDWay People Movers because I still call the TTA that since that's what it was called when I first visited Disney World in 1976 when I was 6 years old.

Chris(ClearScreen)

P.S. There is no truth to the rumor that the winner gets a $6000 Rolex.

So the watch is worth more than $6000, SWEET!

The team name requirement could get interesting. The league at work last year required that your name had to include a Saturday morning cartoon character and a disease.
