Maybe this fall after you get back we can put together a fishing outing somewhere central for all the Southern/East Coast dads.

Oh yeah...anytime, anywhere!!!! I need to hit some of the NC Lakes just to say I did, and I'm headed to NH next June for Smallmouth:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

A new show is starting this Sun. that some of you guys might be interested in, It's called Top Shot. It's a contest to see who is the best marksman not with one weapon, but with any weapon. It will be interesting to see what they break out of the arsenal and what they have to hit from where:confused3

History Channel I think it was on at 9pm Sun

A friend of mine works at China Beach, doing non-nuclear weapons design and testing. One of his "specialties" is air firing systems (they allow non-destructive testing of projectiles). It would be fun to see how the marksmen did with a couple of his creations.

This video is of an airgun firing a golfball at a watermelon. The golfball was traveling at about 410 mph:
410 mph golfball meets watermelon

And this is probably the largest potato gun in the world. No pictures of it being fired yet though. He's been too busy with other priority work to get a chance to play with "Vera" yet:

This looks cool. I'll have to check out the video when I get home. Has this gun ever been used in the Punkin Chunkin competition here in Delaware?

I think that they require a permit or something to launch a pumpkin into orbit!:lmao:

That, and I don't believe that a pumpkin can withstand the firing pressure. It would never make it out of the barrel.

Cool video!

I know they've used some pretty big compressed-air cannons in past competitions. They do lose a lot of pumpkins when firing, though. That's part of the fun.

I'd definately do it. (And another vote for yahoo - I do a baseball league and they do a good job).

I have to do some name researching. I already have some ideas.

NFL.com has a free one the wife and I have played for free for the past 9 years. :thumbsup2 It'd an option. And you can count me in for fantasy football. We even play while on vacation at WDW:lmao:

Growing up watching the Lakers was great to see them play the Celtics:banana::banana:

Go Boston Go. Boston in 6:scared1:

Really going to have to think about a "creative" Disney name for my football team. My big problem?? The word creative. Maybe I'll see something that inspires me when I'm down there here in a couple of weeks.

On another front, it was blazing hot here in the NC mountains today. Hope ya'll are a little cooler where you are.

Everyone have a great Friday.

I used to hit a golf ball at 410 MPH. Then they kicked me off off the course because my green skin and ripped purple pants didn't conform to the club's dress code.:thumbsup2

I want one... I just do not know where I would park it.
Anywhere you want. :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

"The Underminers! I'm always beneath you, but nothing is beneath me!

It was quite pleasant here today. Upper 60's. Got a lot of stuff done outside, despite the kids "helping".:rotfl2:

OK, so far we have 9 teams and a few more invites who have not yet responded. The league is shaping up quite nicely as we should easily have 12 teams, and maybe 14. So far, the teams are as follows:

Passamaquody Dragons
WEDway People Movers
Taxidermy Tech
Grumpy Old Men
Main Street Moose
Le Cellier Dwellers
Madder Than Hatter
Da Bears
The Mighty Ducks

I may have to call out "Da Bears" unless the owner can justify its "Disneyness" to me.;) Creativity award, so far, is definitely "Le Cellier Dwellers".

Pretty humid here on the other side of those mountains in TN too.
