According to It's A Disney World After All, there is a rumor that LeCellier might be changing to a Signature Restaurant starting as soon as Sept.

Now if you make a ADR, for say Dec in a couple weeks from now, will they honor it as a TS on the meal plan, if the ADR is in before they anounce it as a Signature, or will they charge the Signature rate of 2 TS.:confused3

...and we're back. Got back from Orlando Saturday evening. We left Tuesday morning, had an early dinner at T-Rex in DTD, then hit MK all day Wed. w/ dinner at Crystal Palace followed by the dessert party. Thursday was an off day where we relaxed out by the pool drinking corona's and eating 'Cheeseburgers in Paradise" (why is it that all pool side musicians only seem to play music by Jimmy Buffet or Bob Marley?). On Friday we hit Sea World, which was 'ok' not a complete dissapointment simply because it had been close to 15 years since I'd last been there, but the heat was intense (it was over cast and breezy @ MK). We got to see the shuttle launch from Shamu Stadium which was probably the highlight of the day. We left Saturday morning, with a detour through Vero Beach to visit family (a 3 hour trip turned into 7 hours because of this).

Back to reality and already planning our next trip.

Except for the intense heat and extra long trip home, it sounds like you had a nice time. Glad to hear it! :thumbsup2

Well...I did not clear Hurdle #3. :sad1:

My Dad was actually considering it...but my Mom (who is doing well after her back surgery BTW) felt that she would not be up to the trip...and I get that they are both in their mid-70's and are not in the Best of shape. She said she would rather spend a week at the beach with an Oceanfront view. Commence "Operation: 50th Anny in Myrtle." :beach:

Now I keep thinking back to clearing Hurdle #1....the wife and kids out of school one. :rolleyes1

Fixed your post. :rotfl:

Oh, it wasn't all liquid. There was still some defined solids in there. However, since many of us are just getting out of breakfast, I will spare you the details. Unless someone asks, then I'll go into every gory detail!

On the Chunkyness Scale

1 being Ketchup...
5 being a good resturant style Salsa...
10 being Campbell's Chunky Steak and Potatos...

how would you rate it???:confused3

It was a great time, we made sure to spend a little extra time at Toon Town since it won't be there for much longer. Surprisingly, the construction barriers didn't affect the ambience too much, but they were kind of annoying. A funny little side story, I sort of quit smoking three weeks ago, switched to one of those e-cigs which has helped significantly, anyhow, I made sure to only use it in smoking sections to avoid any grief, well, I was waiting for my ladies to get out of the rest toom and decided to swap batteries while I waited. I took a quick puff to make sure it was working correctly when a CM saw me and from a distance of about 10 feet it looks pretty real, with the tip lighting red when puffing. He pointed at me with a scowl and motioned to put it out. I looked him in the face and pretended to put it out by twisting the 'lit' part in the palm of my hand as I scowled back. His eyes opened wide and he turned and left quickly.

I think I'd put it at a 3. Sort of a creamy tomato soup consistency with solid bits ranging from the firmness of cooked peas to al dente macaroni noodles.

Bummer Nate. Sorry about that. But at least now you know what she would like...

I read that thread as well as we have an Oct ADR there. That thread said they were going to refurb the restaurant itself and reduce the overall number of seats. And, since it was listed on the DP as 1 TS credit for this year, it would make sense to move is to 2 TS for next calendar year. Still, it is Disney, and they can do whatever they want to do.

You must be Wolverine! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Welcome back Oscar!

:sad1: The kids could still come down with a mysterious week-long "virus".

"What's the matter Commander? You don't like flying, huh? Aw, this is nothing! You should've been with us five, six months ago! Whoa! You talk about puke! We ran into a hailstorm over the Sea of Japan. Everybody's retching their guts out! The pilot shot his lunch all over the windshield, and I barfed on the radio! Shorted it out completely! And it wasn't that lightweight stuff either, it was that chunky industrial weight puke!
[offers candy bar to Jack Ryan]

Hey, you want a bite?"

Hi, My name is Brian. I am addicted to WDW.

Lets face it, once I get on that plane headed to WDW, the rest of the world does not exist till I return..

Hi, Brian! We're a pretty good support group. You are member # 459 :thumbsup2

Just found this and I've got to get into this club.

Proud father of an (almost) 4 month old boy and I'm already trying to convince the wife we need to take him to WDW next year (take advantage of it before we have to pay for him ;))

We have no trips planned as of now... well at least on paper, but I'm always doing what ifs and planning in my head, so I know this is the place for me.:thumbsup2

Congrats on the new addition to your family! You are member # 460 :thumbsup2

:welcome: WELCOME TO THE DIS DAD'S CLUB! :welcome:

You have been added to the DIS Dad's Club list :thumbsup2

Checking in here, fellas. Took a little while to catch up on the 10 pages I missed. Haven't quite felt like getting on the boards lately... post WDW trip disorder or something. My DW has been getting on me about starting the TR... says it will be "therapeutic" for me. She prob has a point there. So... looks like I'll be starting that sometime in the near future. Yes... the use of the word "near" was intentional :rotfl2:

For a long time to come. :lmao::lmao::lmao:
