There would be no way I could afford it without DVC. Rooms will be paid for but I imagine the flights are a BAZILLON dollars. Maybe if I eat dirt the whole thime we are over there, we can swing it.

I think you can get dirt with the QS Dining Plan.

My advice? Skip the meal and go straight for the Sparkling Volcano!

We stopped in at the Rain Forest at the Nashville Opry Mills Mall last week on Spring Break and we had the volcano. The did not have a lit sparkler, just a stick with silver paper. The desert was still really good!

'51 Willy's Jeep.

A guy had one for sale around here a few years ago. I would drive by it every day on my way to work. It was wasn't pretty (definitely a diamond in the rough). I just wasn't in a point in my life (2 very young kids) to buy it. One day, though I'll track one down. :thumbsup2

I owned a 85 CJ7 for a while it was my first jeep, now I own an 97 Jeep TJ. I have owned jeep my entire life and hope to buy another one when this ones dies....actually they never die they just rust until the body falls apart.:lmao:

Would love to own an old jeep like this one day....

That's right - and pretty darn post-ative too... I know talkative would be the correct term, but that was just more "fun"

talkative...ya... thats right. :lmao::lmao:

:scared1: Wow... 2017! I'm impressed. I'm still working on THIS year!:lmao:
OH!... BTW... I had an interesting conversation last night with DW. She actually said... "You know... you're going to think I'm crazy... but we might be able to do two trip to WDW next year." :woohoo: Somebody pinch me!

hook, line and sinker....congrats!!

Which one is going to have the rose in his mouth this time?????? :flower3::flower3:
:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Welcome to all the new Dads and great greats pics of the fish fellas. It's great to see all the little fellas getting to spend time with there Dads....remember time is the greatest gift we can give our kids. Whether we are at Disney or just at home throwing a ball around.

We all decided to go for a bike ride the other night, mind you I havent been on a bike for a few years....my boys thought it was the funniest thing they ever saw. I don't get what was so funny.....:confused3

You Guys picked some great cars and trucks. I even like the new Disney package mini van (I'd buy one)

I've had a concept for a few years now, when I retire I would love to buy some early 50's model Ice Cream trucks to restore (the ones with all the freezer doors), and then bid on parks and family orianted events, hire older retired guys dressed all in white with the black tie and the old style hat they used to wear.

I'm thinking this would make a mint, I don't know what the Ice Cream trucks look like around the U.S. but the ones here all have kids with piercings everywhere working them, I won't let my son anywhere near them.:confused3

Stopher - Great vintage photos, it would be great if some of the old time values came back to style. I see teens in parks that would not have left the room if they were my kid.

Fed,
I cleaned it up a bit for you. Added a little bling here, a little chrome there. Make it feel a little more like home for you. You know, so that it matches your boat. :rotfl2:

All I can say is AWESOME!!!! :thumbsup2

Here you go -
smiley_puke.gif

This made me laugh at first until it reminded me of our last WDW trip where I was the "receiver" and Shannon (DD2) was the "sender".:rotfl2:

NEITHER. Nor will there be a myriad of texts flying about trying to determine a meeting time/place. We already talked on the phone & know what each other looks like.

You guys really know how to spoil a good time for the rest of us. I was just picturing one of you with a red flower behind your ear to "signal" to the other. :rotfl2:

I almost forgot to post my pre-1972 dream car. It's a little different kind of "muscle car":
1953-jaguar.jpg

My uncle had one when I was growing up. It's a 1953 Jaguar XK120. I actually got to drive it once, for about 15-20 minutes around the neighborhood. The rumble of that engine was incredible. But having to double-clutch and shift left-handed was . . . well, it was a word not appropriate for this forum.

So guys, it looks like I'm going to be heading to the Indy area in early June for some client meetings and some 18 point discussions. When I get more details I'd love to try to swing a meet up with those of you who are in the area. (chill & stopher I'm looking at you guys)

Also I'll probably end up driving as well since we're just in the Chicago area and if I add the time for security, flight, baggage check etc. driving would be about the same amount of time with less aggravation.

.

I live in a suburban city of a garden spot known as Detroit!:lmao: You heard of the movie "8 Mile", well I live between 11 and 12 mile. If anyone comes to Detroit let me know.

We are up to $695.00 for GKTW! Great job guys We have about 15 days left in the 1st annual Dis Dad's GKTW April fund raiser. We are only asking for $5 donations but if you want to give more that is ok too.

Oops. I had you pegged as an Indy guy. Please accept my apologies. On the other hand, being a Detroit guy, I guess that was a compliment. :lmao:

My DIS Dads stuff from VistaPrint is on the way! Once it was printed, the info listed became "May 1 or sooner". It left Romulus, MI, last night. :cool1:

Sounds great. When you have more details just let me know. I'd love to make it happen if at all possible.

Yeah, I'm headed up into that gleaming city of fun today to meet with a client first thing tomorrow morning. I didn't give Christian enough notice last time I was up there, or we'd have had our first meet more than a year ago... this time I was prepared and gave him ample notice. He even was able to post-pone his jury duty service to meet me. Wow. I just felt the love when he told me that. But still, there will be no rose...

The Volcano at the Rainforest Cafe is good, but if you ever have the chance when at DTD try the Chocolate Extinction at the T-Rex Restaurant.

DSCN1835.jpg

Every bit as good as the Volcano in presentation and taste!

Sigh... :sad1:

If my son hadn't completely freaked out and refused to enter the building, I might have been able to try this...
