Happy Birthday Aaron :bday::bday:

Thanks for the birthday wishes.
We actually celebrated a couple of days early, so I could avoid having to have a Kosher-for-Passover birthday cake!

Happy Birthday!!!

Holy cow guys, I go away for a few days and you guys fill over 20 pages. At this rate we will be in IV in no time. Well guys, I am officially unemployed, I woke up this morning and for the first time in a long time I didnt have to do my 1 hr commute to work.:thumbsup2 The restaurant is pretty well ready, we ordered our inventory today and am going to shop for some other things first thing in the morning. Wednesday, I will be having a party and feeding all the people who helped with the renos or are good customers for free. Any Dads who want to come are welcome.:yay:

Thurs and Fri are the busiest days of the year, Fish and chips for good friday is very popular. I will try to come and say hi soon. Wish me luck fellas, talk to you soon.

Opening weekend is going to be crazy!!:yay:

Good Luck Daddy-O! We are all behind you!

Happy Birthday Aaron!!!

This question is non-Disney, so forgive me.
Has anyone ever been to a Day Out with Thomas event? They have a life size Thomas the Tank Engine come to local Rail Road Museums for a few days. You can go on a train ride pulled by Thomas, plus they have all sorts of other Thomas-themed activities going on.
The problem is that Thomas is going to be in Green Bay on the same weekend that the Blue Angels are going to be performing in Milwaukee. DS3 would love either event and I'm torn. Ideally we'd do one on Saturday and the other on Sunday, but Green Bay is about a 3 hour drive and we have family and friends up there, so DW would want to make a weekend out of it.
Just looking for opinions.

oh yea !!!! Just spent 18 hrs at the baseball fields on sat & sun trying to get them ready for play, just to have them looking like fishing ponds
it hasnt stopped!!! all the roads are flooded.

I remember we looked into going up to the Strasburg (PA) Railroad when they were having a similar event, but the prices were ridiculously expensive, and we felt like we wouldn't be getting a whole lot for the money they wanted. It's usually jam-packed with people as well. So we decided to skip it and just ride the regular RR when Thomas isn't around.

It could also have something to do with the fact that DW and I find Thomas to be kind of annoying, but...nah, that couldn't be a factor...

Best of luck! Not having a commute sounds pretty lucky already. I hope it just gets better from there.

Thomas comes to Greenfield Village every year and I have actually been there on a Thomas day. We had our daughter with us but she was still too young to do the Thomas activities. As I recall they just put a Thomas face on the train and that was nothing special. They also had large tents set up which were packed with kids who looked like they were having a great time. So I guess my opinion is that it did't impress me but the kids seemed to love it.

ok guys time to play where am I ?
The way it will work is I will give 3 clues as to where I am.You simply just have to guess where it is.

Although not in the kingdom, and surrounded by green, I am still overlooking the mouse.

Where am I?

We took our DGD (age 3) last year in Phillipsburg, NJ, and she loved it. It was so crowded, they added an extra excursion at the end of the day. They also had some other stuff: a juggler, Sir Topham Hatt (?) for photos, a small petting zoo, hay maze, face painting, etc. I don't know how much of that actually comes with Thomas but probably just Sir Topham Hatt. The train ride was only about 20 minutes or so but we enjoyed it. Bring some cash! They sell lots of Thomas balloons, etc.!
Speaking of the Blue Angels, our Navy son is still in the running for a spot on their Maintenance team. He was scheduled to talk to a former Blue Angels team member today and he will be heading to Pensacola on the 18th for a 5-day working interview with them. I think I'm more excited than he is and he's pretty excited! :woohoo:

Barry you were close so you get another clue.

: to be here by two is good but by one is better!

dont anyone else look at this clue it is for Barry only:rotfl2::rotfl2:

I must be really bored or totally out of my mind! Here are a couple more ideas for a logo/T-shirt design using logos already on the VistaPrint site. These are two fronts and a back. The vans say "DIS DAD's Party Bus". These are the only two vans on the site and I don't know if their colors can be changed. Let me know what you think! As I mentioned before, that site has a ton of ready made graphics to choose from. I took these from the Industrial Transportation group.

My guess would have to be a golf course at Disney somewhere. Maybe the one on the Sassagoula River with the Mickey sand trap.
