So, in order to keep up, i need to spend pretty much all day on this board, don't I? And, if my trip is Dec 27-Jan 1 of 2010, how do I add a counter? I like the one that looks like a cast member badge. Next, what's this apparent "mandetory" trip report? I went last August. Do I need to add one? (I actually have notes). And to Emma's Dad: What's my DIS Dad number? I'm at the early 400's. like 408 i think.

This is a great discussion board.

:banana::banana: Yes! The first person I've found who is going to WDW around the same time as we are! (At least I'm guessing you aren't teasing us with a trip you already took and meant that Jan 1 to be 2011)

Where are you staying?

We are traveling this upcoming Christmastime, and staying at Port Orleans Riverside (POR? if i have my abbreviations right.) We are doing a "Grand Gathering" with Grandma & Grandpa, 1 nephew, 1 brother, my 4 (3 boys and we find out in April on the next one), and of course the Missus.

I ALMOST made a countdown timer for my ADR date, but that seemed excessive.

So you're calling me excessive? COOL!, I have finally arrived!:thumbsup2

Sounds like a really great trip. I know you will have a wonderful time. Hope all goes well with child number 4. We will be staying at AKV Kidani from 12/29 to 1/3. Looking forward to enjoying the decorations and spending New Years at our home again!

Mike...

Following your equation for FUN...and answering your screen name...

Danville?

Greta?

HWY 29 is a long stretch of road.

Keep going, only about 40 miles more... Good job figuring it out! :thumbsup2

The screen name is actually unrelated. It's actually one of those scary moments that happens when you travel too much. Usually on the first night. You wake up in the middle of the night thinking O.K., I'm not in my own bed. And wondering when do I have to meet my contact? Did I set the alarm? Where is the alarm clock? What time zone am I in? What city am I in? Where is the door to the room? Where is the bathroom? Where am I Now???

One of the guys at work completely stumped me today, said his son wanted to know : If Donald Duck is Huey, Dewy & Louie's uncle who are there parents?

Also wanted to know who is the mom of Goofy's kid Max ?

I have no idea:confused3 Anyone know:confused3 Told him I would try to find out

:thumbsup2 we had aps for 4 years and this past oct we stopped. being that we are not going till dec. 2010, i would have paid a year and not go. so, were just jumping back in for another year to cover our 3 trips. after that, well see what happens. i wish they could load your ap onto your room key when you check in, what a pain!! dont touch your room key and your pass together, not put next to your cell phone. dw holds the pass' and i carry the room keys. than they still dont work half the time.:lmao:

Last trip we were there for 9 days and we had to get new passes 4 times. Worst one was when we were finally going to be there in time for rope drop at WDW and ended up spending 15 minutes at the turnstile waiting for them to get new passes issued. The only person who did anything for us other than telling us it was our fault was at Hollywood Studios trying to get FP's for Toy Story, she gave DW a park card to use for getting FP's for the rest of the day. Basically it would give us as many as we wanted and we didn't have any time limits before we could get another one.

Donald's sister Della is the mom of Huey,Louie, dewy. Its rumored that Daisey's brother is the father.
As far as Max's mom I think it is Penny ( Minnie and Daisey's friend)

While at POR, plan to spend one evening with Bob Jackson. You won't regret it! He is usually there, in the lounge, Wednesday-Saturday evenings, around 8:30. Get there early, grab a table near the piano and order a nacho platter and a beer. The kids will love him! :)

Well, it's settled back to the Animal Kingdom Lodge at the end of May!!! :cool1:
We stayed there in 2002. That's really a great resort! And, Boma is our favorite restaurant. :thumbsup2

I've heard some really good things about Bob Jackson. Haven't ever seen him. Maybe this coming trip will be a good time to take a visit over to POR and catch his show. Wonder if he does anything special at Christmas???

We love Boma too. Didn't go there last summer as there were some new places we wanted to try, but I think we definitely need to make it back there this time, especially being so close at Kidani. So when DOES that 180 day window open????

thats funny, studios is were the lady looked at me like i was a criminal!!. "sir, sir, that pass is expired, sir!!! i just got the thing two days ago, heres my paper work!!!! from now on i carry the paper work they give you when you turn your vouchers in for your real pass'. the other time was at mk, they said i didnt have a current bar code? (you gave me this bar code 5 days ago) than the rest were just, bend the card, spit on your fingers, rub your belly three times, do the freakin happy dance before you stick your card in to see if it will work this time!:lmao:
