I wish I had gone the peanut butter crackers route. There was a super bowl party 15 feeet from my desk. The meatballs, the crab dip, etc. were calling my name. Too soon to eat like that after a stomach bug. I think I'm going to head home before the rumbly in my tumbly announces my presence to the entire fourth floor. Need to rest up for the real super bowl party on Sunday. Plus I'm inspired by Emma's Dad.I've got an igloo to build!! Doggone it- if they can build one in Va Beach, why not the capital city?!

Yeah Don inspired me as well. We are going to make the igloo attempt if we get enough snow.
Snow is underway here in KC too. Big, fat, sticky flakes too. But I'm not sure we're going to get enough for an igloo. And it's warm enough that it may not stay around very long.
Glad I could inspire some dads to build igloos... need to see pics!! BTW... mine is still standing... after 2 days in the 40's... and now it's raining! If it can make it to tomorrow night it will freeze again. Here's to hoping!![]()
Oh boy...I sense a DIS Dads Igloo Challenge arising...
We're supposed to get between 1' and 2' here in DE. I've never built an igloo before, though. Being an engineer, this could be embarrassing if it's not structurally sound. Maybe I'll have to come down with a "stomach bug".
And Kevin, should you really be out shoveling snow and building igloos if all you've eaten is pb crackers??![]()

Did somebody say challenge?
The only problem is I don't have any good packing snow. It's all powder, but I will see what I can do this weekend.
We all definately need to post picks of whatever it is we build.![]()
we would normally do 14 nights but im getting wed on this trip
Yeah, but you work for the state. Nobody really expects a quality job anyway.![]()
On another note, I'm getting a Disney fix this weekend. We're going to Disney on Ice: Princess Classics tomorrow in Milwaukee. I'm sure I'll be roped into buying $6 hot dogs, $5 nachos, $12 light up toys and and $8 ICEES in collector cups. It will feel just like I'm in Disney World!
If I get some good pics I'll put them up next week.
Ok guys this may sound stupid But how do I post pics on here? Do they have to be posted to another web site like photobucket? I need to learn quick cause I will need to get my igloo pics in to enter them in the Dis Dads build off
Yes, they have to be hosted on another site. A lot of the guys here like Picasa (Google's software).

this is a test lol

I'm not sure if anyone here is into home remodeling/construction/etc... but my DW watches HGTV all the time and I'm sitting here watching Holmes for Homes. WOW... I can't believe the kind of work some "contractors" do. I mean... I'm absolutely flabbergasted at the house I am watching right now. From the basement to the roof this one guy (who is a relative of the couple that own the house) screwed up the entire house. This is heart-wrenching to watch... but cool to see how fast Holmes fixes it.
I've seen that show a couple of times andI can't believe what people get away with and call themselves contractors.
On a side note, I wonder if Holmes has ever had to fix a screwed up Igloo... Just sayin.![]()
We know we are your favorite, it's okay, I won't tell.![]()
So basically, that's three weeks of Tactics Training. Which is harder, doing the death march at the end of the night around World Showcase or a day at Tactics Training.![]()
At least with a CM you didn't get soaked for thousands every time you speak to them on the phone........hold on.......uhmmm....nevermind![]()
Welcome to the club, let us know if you need any help or have any questions.
No pressure really. I'm sure we all hate answering questions about Disney.
