Waaay too many guns in my house to really tick the DW off:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Spending this weekend getting ready for our trip!!! Arriving at POR Friday morning:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

The beacon for the extraction team won't work. I even changed the batteries. Going down fast. Help me.

Actually things have gone pretty well so far with the girls. No one has died. A couple of severe head injuries but nothing permanent. More when I get back.

Oh, sorry. The extraction team was watching the playoffs. As soon as the game is over, we'll try and get down there for you. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Please tell me you have the "leash of shame" with you! :thumbsup2

Good luck to you!! I look forward to your trip report they are always enjoyable to read!

Bought a few things that were on sale, a few things that were on clearance. If they had a better Men's department (or any Men's department for that matter), I would have spent more! It sure wasn't for the kids' lack of trying, though. Evan did finally settle for adding lots of things to his Christmas list for next year. :cool1:

our disney store at the lv mall is more like a kids toy store. they have about 3 adult size shirts and thats it. good thing:lmao:

the chineese buffet in the walmart shopping center. we go there and franks pizza. whats funny is marios grand father and my grandfather are brothers. both on our mothers side. if you ever read any of his bios he talks about his uncle tony benvegno, thats my moms father. the gas station in nazareth he worked at was my aunts(my moms sister) husband lewie. when my mom and her bros and sisters were alive,we had family reunions and he would stop in. i have pics of him and myself at the last one we had. i was 16. his mother father (rena and gigi) were very nice people also. my grandfather brought them over during the war. they came with what they could carry. they were poor. very poor.they came from montona italy, my grandfather came over years before and during the war, montona was leveled, the lived in a refugee camp for a while. you got to hand it to the guy, he earned every penny he has. nobody handed him anything. they were somthing when they were kids. his brother aldo moved to indy years ago. i only met him one time. thats john andrettis father. so yup, thats were the she lifted came from. thats marios saying, i never lift!!:thumbsup2:lmao:

Dave: Well, that makes you some kind of relative of Mario but I can't figure it out. I've lived in the Easton area for most of 59 years and I don't think I've ever seen Mario or Michael. I did see Aldo once at a diner in Nazareth but that's about it.
Ya know, as small as the Disney Store's Men's Department is, I once bought a Goofy sweatshirt there. I'd probably buy more clothes if they had more. We were there before Christmas and got some PJ's for our grandkids and a Tinker Belle ornament for our DD (she collects them).
Actually, I've been getting IronPigs stuff for gifts lately. I'm not sure why because I've been boycotting MLB since the '93 strike! I did go to a Pigs game last year (free ticket) and I'll probably get back again this year (if I get another free ticket). I don't hold a grudge against minor leaguers, just the steroid juiced guys in the bigs making millions.
We go to that buffet sometimes and we've been to Frank's once. My DW has a wheat/gluten allergy so she can't eat regular pizza. I usually end up buying a frozen one every week. I couldn't wait for 5 Guys to open and we haven't even been there since it did open. We're usually at TicToc for breakfast on Saturdays around 6:00.
I don't need knee surgery; the doc said it's arthritis and there isn't much that can be done for it surgery-wise. I'm on glucosamine/chondritin and an anti-inflammatory now. So, we might be able to swing a vacation this year after all! I'm hinting at Disney but the DW isn't biting. She still doesn't want to go again unless we take someone with us who hasn't been there, like grandkids. We're still a few years from that, though. We might be looking at Holden Beach (NC) again sometime in April or we might just save the money for a future trip.
Have fun racing your DW! :thumbsup2

I may be wrong but I think due to the heavy volume of people caused by the Nfl playoffs, they moved the extraction point over to the English Pub in Epcot. It would have been risky to leave it at the original point for the weekend, should move back to original place come Monday.

Good luck with the rest of the trip hope all goes well

Well today was our first falg football game of the season. I got talked into coaching and have been just a little nervous about it. The team is made up of mostly kids that play on my sons tackle football team. We won 46-24!:banana:

We started out on defense and the first play of the game my son had a sack for a safety. Second play of the game we are on offense and my running back goes the entire length of the field for a score. Third play...my son had his second safety of the game. It was a good game by my guys all around. Everyone got involved and made some great plays.

Congratulations. I was on the other side of that. I am coaching 1st/2nd grade girls in Upwards Basketball. 2 of our players did not show up, so my team did not get any subs. And, from the players who were there, most had not played basketball before. So, we were smoked; but my daughter was able to drive to the basket and score, something she could not do last year.

That is a great thing watching your child score like that. My sons teams have struggled the last two seasons with not a lot of wins. That was great having the opening win of the season. Thnat may be our only one but it is more then he has last seaon of flag football.

how long are you going for fed?

Seven Days...:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo::woohoo: Checking out on the 29th:thumbsup2

Delta Foxtrot 1 was unaware of any beacon activation..stand by for diagnostic run and standards confirmation...

Secondly....:scared1::scared1::scared1: You guys all right down there? Head injuries??

Hope things are well for everyone.

We are in the middle of booking our next best Disney trip. Rule number 4 applies at the moment. :lmao::lmao::lmao:

The DIS Dad's Club Criteria:
#4 You get more excited than your kids when a trip to WDW is planned (or the excitement at least equals that of your kids).

I got an email PIN from Disney for 40 percent off the deluxe resorts. We booked Animal Kingdom Lodge for 8/19 -26 this year.

When the Disney reservationist asked what we might be celebrating, I told him " our 15th wedding anniversary". With our 2 girls of course.

Here is the funny part... When we got the conf. email it said welcome to our family for your 50th wedding anniversary.:scared1:

Saw the posts about flag football and basketball and decided to check out the whole Upward thing. We see a lot of their stickers and stuff around here but never looked into it. I think I'll see if the DS7 would be interested in the flag football tomorrow since the first evaluation is this coming weekend. He did soccer for two seasons and tee-ball for three. We looked into Tae Kwon Do but the places around here are very pricey... close to a car payment each month. He's in Awana at church now but we've been looking for something team-oriented for him to do and this might fit the bill.

Try to get to the lounge to see Bob Jackson one evening! He's there Wednesday-Saturday evenings at 8:30. You won't regret it! Have a great trip! :thumbsup2

When we went down in 2000, we celebrated our 25th at CSR. We told the reservationist that when we booked the room and when we got there we each had a voucher for a free drink in the lounge! Maybe you'll get two each since it's your 50th! :lmao:

Oh well...My Charger lose yet again. :sad2:

DS9 was watching the game with me...looked at me and said..."I'm sorry your team lost daddy."

I said, "It's allright son...I'm used to it."

Penalties and missed field goals. (Fire NORV!!! PLEASE!!!!) :sad2:

Anybody else seen Avatar?

The Story reminded me of Pocahantas...with cool special effects and more violence.

Yeah, I was calling it Dances With Wolves in outer space. :lmao:

Still, I liked it. The effects are pretty amazing, and the action scenes were cool. I could have done without the political messages inserted into it, but I'd watch it again. Definitely worth seeing in 3-D. :3dglasses
