Not a doll house but a GeoTrax train set...grrrrrrr:surfweb:

Really? My DS got a GeoTrax train set too. I had it together in 10 minutes. Easiest assembly of all their toys.
I curse the man who invented those little clear wire ties and decided a $9 toy deserves as much security and protection as a nuclear warhead. He deserves to be drug out into the street, beaten within an inch of his life, and left in the middle of Universal Studios to rot. :thumbsup2

Next year if you try to cut or don't untie it the right way it will zap you:lmao:
My son is into the Geotraxs also once you try cutting in the train set with the airplane sets and the emergency sets and now the Dis Cars set it starts to get a little hairy!

So what did you think of the WD Christmas parade? I left some observations that may help the Dec 2010 trip on FreezinRafiki's Did Dads In Dec page, anything you can add is most welcome.

The first things I get out when we get ready for Christmas Eve is a pair of sidecutters and my pocketknife. This year I slid most of the toys we were giving DS, clipped the wires, then slide them back in.

I have more GeoTrax then floor! I started putting it away for DS when he was 1 1/2. We now have enough to cover his entire toy room floor and about 15 unopened boxes in the back of our closet. It's pretty sad when you have to buy AAA batteries by the gross.

I thought they were going to give it away when they allowed them to score 17 unanswered points!! Luckily the clock ran out before we could give it to them. Go Herd!:thumbsup2

Congrats Steve! Pitt pulled off a victory also but you would never know because Damn Urban Meyer retires right in the middle of their game. Can't he retire in the middle of his own game and let us enjoy the glory of our favorite teams victories.

ok...I want to know what it is called Boxing Day and what does it represent? I have always wondered and never knew.

For me it represents a day off with pay!:lmao: The meaning or purpose of it has kinda changed over the years, retail stores have taken over it is now the biggest "sale day" of the year. Lots of "door crasher type stuff.
Mommy-O and I promised each other we would not buy each other anything for Christmas and go shoping on Boxing Day, well we did and I went through every store in the mall:headache: The funny thing is, she found nothing for herself but I did okay.:thumbsup2

I bought a light weight tripod and a new camera bag. I can't wait to take them with me on our trip.:cloud9:

Here is what wikki has to say about the history.

It looks like you'll be staying at POR. Don't forget to spend an evening with Bob Jackson! You won't regret it!:cool1::banana:
And, have fun boxing at the mall!:lmao: We're staying home today.

We are definitely planning a night with the "pianoman", just trying to figure out which night.:thumbsup2

That's great! Mind if I ask what software you use to cut your videos together?:

I used iMovie 09 on my mac, I downloaded a few pics of "tv snow" and "tv bars" and spliced it all together. I own Disney music Cd for the soarin' music and viola. The mac did all the work.;)

Ok guys, I need to ask a question. Have any of ever done the Richard Petty Experience? Why do I ask?...Because my Awsome wife gave me 8 laps for Christmas for our up coming trip in May.

I am excited:drive: but don't know what to expect.

I would expect to go fast and turn left. :rotfl2:

Seriously, I've never done it, but would LOVE to. I golfed the Disney Palm course, which is right across the road. Ever few minutes you would hear a roarrrrrr as a car raced by. You HAVE to do a report on that when you get back!

That is an awesome gift!!! I would love to do that. The only problem is that I would have to ask "do you have an automatic racecar?" LOL:rotfl2: I have never owned a stardard shift to learn to drive ...go ahead and make fun of me LOL:confused3

Watched my son (9) put together his new LEGO snow plow together...it was a present from his older sister. It only took him until 12:30 am to finish it...after he went to bed Santa had to deliever his gifts. Wife was asleep by 9. I did not get much sleep that night. Plus, he was back up at 7 AM...

BTW: First time to post on the MAN THREAD, I usually post on the cruise thread, you might be able to tell by my tats...

I'm not positive about this but I think that it would be a slap shift automatic, you can downshift for your corners, but does not have a clutch.

I saw it once but never did it myself. This is an awesome gift! Here is what I found:

Take command of the wheel and experience the thrill first hand
Must be able to drive a manual (standard) transmission

Participants should arrive 30 minutes prior to their scheduled driving time for check-in and
complete their Liability Waiver and Participant Information (Medical) Form.
- Students will be issued a driving suit for the class -
:5 minutes Orientation and Video
Meet RPDE staff and watch a short video featuring Richard Petty
:20 minutes Driving Instruction
Learn from your crew chief how to master the track driving line, acceleration / deceleration points, following distance.
:25 minutes Mechanical and Safety Instruction
Learn the details of the race car including entry and exit, shifting pattern, safety devices and more.
:10 minutes Mandatory Driver’s Meeting
This is the time to go over final details, ask last minute questions and receive the driving order. Participants will have their photo(s) taken next to a RPDE car. Then hear those famous words in Motorsports, "Drivers Start Your Engines!"
:1 hour approximately Driving Experience
Time varies by experience.
Participants driving in a program with more than one session will receive feedback from the instructors each time exiting the vehicle. This ensures that each subsequent session shows improvement in driving skill and takes you closer to meeting the top goal speed.
:15 minutes Closing Ceremony
Participants will receive a Graduation Pack, including a detailed lap-time sheet showing each lap driven and an official Graduation Certificate with name, date and estimated top goal speed reached.

Have fun!:drive:

He's usually there Wednesday through Saturday evenings at 8:30. Try the Nacho platter while you're there! :thumbsup2

You are going to love it. I did the ride along about 5 years ago and it was a huge rush. The neatest part of the ride along is that you are in the passenger seat and the driver knows exactly how hard he can push it so you end up about 6 inches away from the wall when you are going down the straightaways. I think we got up to somewhere around 140 mph on the straights. All I remember is a lot of vibration and shaking from the adrenaline rush when I got out!
