Hey all.

What happened?!?!?!? You don't log on for a couple of days (OK 10 days) and there is 20+ pages to catch up on, I missed the #400 round and next thing you know Christmas is like 2 days away.

Anyway, welcome to all the new dads. :welcome:

To all my fellow brethren I hope that you all enjoy the holidays with your families.

Oh, and Fed, thanks for all you do to allow us the freedom to celebrate whatever we choose. Also I want a ride on the pimped out boat trailer. Think you could paint some flames on the fenders? :confused3

Alright dads, all is packed, car is loaded, as soon as the princesses wake up (DW included) we'll be on our way to Disney. hope you all have a great Christmas.

Well guys, the time has almost arrived. I know a few of you are in the same boat as I am; this is the first year my son "gets it". I can not even begin to remember what it is like being a 4 year old on Christmas morning. I stayed up last night assembling toys and cutting wire ties so DS can actually pull something out of the box and play with it instead of me trying to figure out how to get Woody out of the Round up Gang box without a table saw and chisel.

Don't forget to set the DVR or VCR to tape the parade tomorrow, make sure the video camera has a new tape (or memory available), and you get some sleep. Oh yeah, at some point after the kids are off in bed but before you head up, say thanks to the wife:hug:.

I hope you all have a great day and enjoy putting your normal lives on pause for a day or two. Looking forward to some great stories in the next few days/weeks.
And as Clark says "We're gonna press on, and we're gonna have the hap, hap, happiest Christmas since Bing Crosby tap-danced with Danny f'n Kaye."

May God continue to watch over us all and bless our families,
:santa:Merry Christmas Dads!:santa:

My kids really get it too. We fired up a video chat with the grandparents last night (via Skype) so they could watch the kids open the presents they sent. Both of the kids tore through their piles and were eying up the rest of the presents under the tree that we're saving for tonight and tomorrow morning.

And to everyone traveling this holiday season - take it easy and stay safe.

And to quote my favorite jolly old elf: "Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night!"

How's your daughter doing? She all recovered yet? Did she spread it to anyone else?

She's back to normal. Bouncing off walls... running around, etc. Fortunately no one else caught it.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas (or other holiday of choice).

Cinderella's Fella: Thanks for the NORAD link. Our 5 yo DD was in awe watching where Santa is now. :yay:

It's snowing! woohoo!!! :dance3:

I almost can't believe it! (If it stays) This is only the second or third white Christmas I can remember. DDs are all excited, and worried about the dog.

MERRY CHRISTMAS! To all the Dis Dad's and your families, stay safe and hopefully you will have no fighting or arguing at dinner with the relitives or in-laws:eek:

Merry Christmas, guys! Had some fun tonight and almost had the kid believing the red light on top of the water tower was Rudolph's nose. Last year it was the blinky red light on top of the radio tower. Had him buying that one for a few miles as we drove towards it. This year's fun didn't last as long. :confused3

Looking forward to yet another DIS Dad year.

The children are nestled all snug in their beds, (finally  )
With visions of sugar-plums dancing in their heads; (I wonder if they even know what a sugar-plum is... )
And mamma in her 'kerchief, and I in my cap, ( :lmao: yeah, right)
Are about to settle down for a long winter's nap.

So, I'll give this wish to all Dis Dads in sight,
"Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!"

Merry Christmas! Enjoy the time with your families.

Thanks for posting link. my son is loving it!

You are very merry welcome!:santa: I put it up on the TV last night and the whole family was into it, when Santa moved to a new location someone would shout out that "He's getting closer!"

Merry Christmas to All!

Glad you were able to spend a magical day in a magical place! A Christmas to remember I am sure. Hopefully you were able to put all the other things going on in life out of your mind for just a short time!
