hey fed, do have permission to go awol? are the carpets done yet? :lmao: thats why i go to work, i dont have to work as hard and it pays better.:lmao:

I hope he has her permission or she might go all Tiger Woods on him:rotfl2:

So December's the popular travel time for DIS Dads next year, huh? Naturally, we're looking at...September.

the first two weeks are the cheepest for dvc members. and just ask dw, cheepest is my middle name.:lmao: the week after thanksgiving i hear is a nice time to go down also. the only thing about december is you have to double pack, warm and cold. in 2007 we walked around in tshirts and shorts. in 2004 there was frost on our windows at okw and we had our winter coats on at night. i had to buy 3 blankets in mexico in 2004 so we could sit and watch the candlelight show at epcot. well worth it if your going in december.

captain, you cant go in september, its the only month that your eagles still have a chance. :lmao: im not a big basletball fan but geezzz, you would of thought the sixers signed the pope!!! flyers fire there coach and need a goal tender and the eagles are keeping there coach:scared1: and need a quarterback. those are the only two knuckle heads that keep losing for 10 years and still keep there jobs. my eagle loving boss told me when i mentioned favre was available,he replied, and i quote," favre is just not that good". so, i cut the stats out of the paper on monday mornings and lay them on his desk.:lmao:

WOW! Alot of us will most likely be there 1st week of Dec 2010, This is a great opp. to get the Dis Dads recognized, as a group effort maybe the Dis Dads could open a park or be in a parade. With a year to plan, a Great bunch of Dads (almost 400), I think we are the type of guys that can make things happen!

Could be the start of something BIG, will never know if we don't try!:woohoo::yay::cheer2::dance3::goodvibes:cool1: What do you think?

Yes, Going to DTD to get something for her...and she knows that also involves a stop at Bass Pro:lmao: And I totally agree on the work part, sheesh, I did less work in Iraq...:rotfl2:

I'll throw her a 1 iron...wasn't it Fuzzy Zoeller who said "not even God can hit one of those":lmao:

I'm pulling the man law out here guys...c'mon, don't make me go there:lmao::lmao:

OK, the wife has agreed to buy me a smoker for my birthday. Do any of you guys have one? If so what brand do you have or would recommend?

My brother has one he really likes, I'll ask him what brand it is...

Annd, at the risk of sounding like a true redneck---my smoker is an old Beer Keg with the top cut off. I put the meat on a stand, put the keg over it, cover it with charcoal and let er' rip---you guys are laughing like hell right now, I know it:confused3:rolleyes1:lmao::lmao:

No other way to describe it than "High Tech Redneck":lmao:

We did September on our previous trip with the free dining and loved it, along with the non-existent crowds!

If you think Reid and McNabb have only been losing for 10 years, you've obviously forgotten what the Eagles were like in the Ray Rhodes/Rich Kotite years! :scared1:

When you look at their history, you can make the argument that Reid and McNabb are the best coach and QB in Eagles history...you could also make the argument that it's not saying much. :lmao: But I do at least appreciate the fact that they've been putting teams out there with a chance to win the Super Bowl, which previous owners/coaches failed to do for years.

As for the Flyers, I love how they fired their coach and then immediately lost the next game 8-2. Hmmm...do you think maybe the coach wasn't the problem? :rotfl2:

And who are the Sixers? Never heard of them.

or Loraina Bobbit :scared1::scared1::scared1:

Temps in the 50's today, so we just got drenched with rain. Might have some flooding, though.

I still had to come to work.

Most of Wisconsin got 12-15" of snow last night. We live about 3/4 of a mile away from Lake Michigan, which kept us warm enough to keep it all as rain. Tomorrow: high of 9° with -10° to -20° wind chill. <Thinking Disney Thoughts. Thinking Disney Thoughts>

When I was hunting around online last night and found a bunch of links for the Alton Brown flowerpot smoker. It's basically 2 terra cotta flower pots stacked to make an egg shape, a rack to set the meat on, one of those single electric burner cookers, and a cast iron pan to hold the wood chips. If I can pull it off I think it will extend my Man Card through at least 2012

Man alive...my son would have to start school next fall..daggonit.. I want to be there at the same time!!:confused3

I'm in the same boat with it being DS's first year of real school but I figure if he's going to grow up to be an imagineer anyways I kind of owe it to him to take him as often as possible.
