With all the mini-van talk and the thought of maybe flaming someone, I have a confession to make. My 1st vehicle purchase was a mini-van... 1995 Ford Windstar AKA money pit AKA glad it's gone! Yes I said it. I was the only 19 yr old who owned their own mini-van in CT.

It worked out good for me because I was starting out in the DJ business and having a van was great for moving all that equipment around. I also didn't see any of my friends laughing when 7 of us piled in and drove 1200 miles to Panama City Beach for spring break. I had to put in a new tranny, replaced every sensor, exhaust, thermostat, plus a million other 'fixes'. Plus I loved seeing the check engine light on for about 3 years.. with no one able to figure out why it was on.
The day I went to trade it in (Aug 2006), I pulled it out of my driveway and started down the street. I went to hit the breaks coming up to a stop sign and the peddle went all the way to the floor.... I had NO breaks!!!

I pulled up the E-break and skidded across another street before I came to stop in someone's lawn. I hated that hunter green windstar (AKA Windy) and that was the icing on the cake.
I drove it back up the street to my driveway, parked it, got out, kicked it, and called our local BSA to donate it. Then I called my friend up, he drove me to the car dealer, and about an hour and 1/2 later had my 2004 Tahoe... which I love and still drive today!
I hope you all can understand my animosity toward the mini-van.
