Why all the hate for the Eagles here? Sheesh. I didn't think Disney was supposed to let Cowboys fans in.

i didnt say hate, i said stinkin! the best part is if i get a sunday afternoon at home in the winter, i end up sleeping thru most of the games!! im not a hard nose pro sports fan. ever since it became big business, i lost intrest. years ago, the players played for there fans and team,now it seems they play to see how many millions they can get and were can they get more. which, i quess you cant blame them.someone waved 8 mil. under my nose, id jump too!!

I prefer to follow the college games more...for some reason it is just more fun to me.

I can't tell you how much I hate that show "Black Gold". I think it goes way over the top and in some ways portrays roughnecks in a bad light. Im a consultant and havent roughnecked for a few years but little has changed. Its still very dangerous work. On a lighter note its always a good day when i meet a fellow Domer! I get nothing but hate frome the Longhorn and Aggie fans down here.

i had a feeling it was "tv". i feel your pain, try living in penn state haven. of course its been a little quit, after there fine showing in january! the owner of the com. i work for,his wife and kids who also work there, all went to penn state. thats all i hear. i have n.d.s fight song on my cell phone, drives them nuts!! the rest of them are eagle fans. im sorry we have one steeler fan. hes a sports buff can tell you any stat you want to know about any sport. (if he could only do his job as well) i watch the history,milit.and travel chanels anymore.

One thing about being originally from South Carolina---no pro teams, so no real allegiance...

And I played soccer, so, to most Americans I'm a Communist anyway

back in the 70s when i was a kid, we would stop on our way to florida at my aunts house in gorgia. her grand kids would come over and want to play soccer all the time. soccer really hasnt taken hold up here till about 5 years ago. now, theres high school teams and its really gotten big. same as lacross. theres so many options now days for kids,which is good. i dont think your a communist. i watch international soc. on tv sometimes. talk about people with a passion for there sport. wow!

I have the same ringtone and also have my doorbell chanting the greatest fight song in all the land. the strangest thing is that one of my closest friends is from Michigan and he and I have become really close because of the rivalry between ND and Michigan. Each year we make sure to be home and have a whole weekend dedicated to the event!

I am the true eastern Pennsylvania sports fan; Eagles Phillies and Penn State. I dabble in Hockey and of course that would be the Flyers. I can't say that I truly dislike any teams other then the ones in the NFC East and anyone playing against the Phillies!

Now I can respect a guy who follows the teams he has grown up with. I get questioned a lot because I live in West Texas and I bleed gold and blue. But i dont care, I still fly my ND flag on Saturdays and sport the Irish everywhere I go. I even have Notre Dame hard hat stickers!

whats funny is my brother who passed away bled eagle green. not only did we live in the same house, but when he got out of the air force, we lived in the same room!!! only an eagle fan and a dallas fan knows what im talking about. we would go back and forth, in fun, now his son calls be during football season and we bust each other. every football season you dont see flowers at the cemetary, its all deced out with eagle stuff! i still put my 4in. flag w/ the blue star on it, im sure hes laughing about it! oh, and i was in the 4th grade when i jumped the eagles ship. even at 9 years old i could tell this isnt goin anywere anytime soon. jaws, how many rings does he have? (that would twist my bro off when i would say that.)
