And a lot more people would complain if you shot a camel...

Yeah, probably..

Although I wouldn't even consider it...they might be smelly, but I consider camels to be pretty cool creatures. It's tough to survive out in this desert, but they get along just fine!! The one's I've come into contact with have been pretty gentle and laid back--just don't get between momma and baby (which goes for just about every animal I think:))

Everytime I see a camel out here I can't help but have "Ahab the Arab" by Ray Stevens playing in my head:lmao::lmao:

And I can't help but picture Yosemite Sam charging Bugs Bunny yelling "Whoa, Camel. Whoa Camel. Whhhhoooooooaaaa Camel<<whack>>. When I say whoa, I mean WHOA!!"

Sorry, just can't get it out of my head.:lmao::lmao::lmao:

Well fellas, I been through a lot emotionally recently and needed somewhere to vent really. My Dad, has been diagnosed with a brain tumor and will be going in for surgery on Wednesday morning. We are still not sure if it is cancer yet, that will be determined after the procedure. He just turned 70 and is healhty as a horse otherwise. My mom is taking it hard and I feel I need to be strong for everyone, but it is a very difficult task. I'm not really sure why I am posting this here on a Disney site, but I thought all of us being Dad's you could relate. I guess I just needed to get it off my chest.

Thoughts and prayers for my Dad would be appreciated.

Thanks

My hopes and prayers go out to you, your dad and your family.

:rotfl2: I'm glad you packed a sense of humor!

Great! Now I'm gonna think about this all day... :rotfl:

I'm not sure if I have joined the Dis Dad's club, but count me as another Dis Dad. My DD has grown up visiting WDW. And now my two StepDD's are learning to love WDW as well.

Well... I didn't have you on our list... but now you are! Welcome, member # 349!

Count me in too!

Stand up and be counted! You are member # 350!

:welcome: WELCOME TO THE DIS DAD'S CLUB! :welcome:

You have been added to the DIS Dad's Club list :thumbsup2

Rings on her fingers and bells on her toes...
(Here in TN we always changed the next line to say...)
Lice in her hair and a booger in her nose...oh oh.
:lmao:

Camels is so stupid...sassafrashingrumblegrumblegrowl. :lmao:

I often use that one on a certain poodle I know. :rotfl2:

Well, I think that based primarily on criteria #4 and #78, I'm in! My entire family thinks I'm completely obsessed, and mostly nuts... Quote from my wife from just last night, "I'm trying to talk to you about school shopping, and all you want to talk about is Disney... Enough already!"

She just doesn't get it.

Good luck today. Your Dad and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

A few recommendations of things to do (in no particular order):

1. Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for the 6 y/o. I can't wait till my DD 17mos princess: is old enough for me to take her.
2. Take the "girls" to Afternoon Tea at the Grand Floridian Garden View Lounge (2pm-4:30pm)
3. Breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table or the Princess Storybook Breakfast at Akershus in Epcot's Norway. I prefer Akershus, but would recommend CRT if you've never done it since it is in THE castle!
4. Cinderella's Gala Feast at 1900PF (dinner). You and your DW will enjoy the antics as much (or more) than your princess:princess:'s
5. One really nice dinner for the DW at Epcot (Le Celier, Chef's de France or Tutto Italia come to mind).

Good luck with the planning.

prince43princesses,

These are great suggestions. Just wanted to add:

1. If your DD2 will be 3 by trip time, she could do BBB as well.
4. We did the feast at 1900 Park Fair last time we were there. Had a great time and the food was really good.
