The difference between Sheraton Vistana Villages and Resort???

Oh i see. Do they stick to this strictly. We arrive on a Saturday, but would like to request one of the fountains buildings around the pool - but they are all red numbers. Presume we have no chance?

Why the different check in days?

Hi again....the specific days are because Vistana is a timeshare resort. If the resort keeps all "like" check-in and check-out days in the same bldgs, it helps keep things organized for the room controller as well as housekeeping.

Of course anything is possible. You can request Fountains I pool front or Lakes has a good chance of getting near the pool with Sat check-ins. Request Fountains I/Lakes pool front and hope for the best.

Actually Lakes pool is nice because it has zero depth entry which might be helpful for the grandparents ?

Out of curiosity, when you are checking in do they ask if you if you are interested in having a presentations, or sales breakfast, or whatever they lay on to entice you to buy timeshare?

The reason I ask, Is that I am sort of wondering if your answer to this question will influence where they put you. For example, if you are interested (even remotely) then from a sales point of view it would be beneficial to put you in a 'nicer' unit as you may be swayed even further by this to buy time here.

However if you are adamant you 'don't want to be bothered by sales calls' and have 'no interest in timeshare', then it sort of doesn't matter if you are in an 'older' villa from their point of view, as you are not the big fish they are trying to catch with a possible sale.

Just a thought?

When you check-in, no....they don't ask you. Once you get your room keys and parking pass, the front desk person will direct you to a desk behind you. They will tell u to go there and pick up your "welcome packet" with coupons etc. It is there, that they ask you about the timeshare presentation. If you skip this desk and go right to your room, don't be suprised if you get phone calls to your room (sometimes 7-8 am in the morning !). I always unplug my villa phones----all three of them.
